    The confidence they show in their chute packers is overwhelming. And the way they just jump out of the plane so casually like getting out of bed like it’s just a natural movement

      Don't forget the last of the unsung heroes of our air transportation members like me that had to prep the Air Force cargo fixed wing aircraft for all special teams to have a successful off the ground mission. In Iraq I even preped the CH-47'S that's normally what special forces fly. On one occasion two 47s landed on my base to pick up more team members and cargo for another mission 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏🙏🙏🙏

They are airforce and train to be on a plane more than in land. But we never rendered or gave them the lead. Army SFG are no 1 worldwide. We trained the NATO SFG, I spend 48 months in europe doing it. My cheers to al Air Force jumpers. They 're not afraid of wind. Those guys up there in the platform are holding wings of over 100 miles, wright in from of them. Another kind of heroes.

    • @amigator7789
      @amigator7789 3 года назад +4

      Exactly... that was what I was thinking about during whole video. Why are some forces using chutes which are dangerously fast and you can broke legs if you land badly, and some other forces uses this kind of chutes with which you can land softly and calmly without risk of injury(?)

    • @stefanlyon2719
      @stefanlyon2719 3 года назад +2

      @@amigator7789 The Parachutes they are using are steerable, used mainly by smaller groups due to the extra training involved to operate properly. General Parachute Infantry will use static line chutes so they are dispersed. If large infantry units jump with steerable chutes you would create a lot of traffic and increase the risk of collisions. Static lines allow a aircraft to make one run, and drop troops in a general area. As seen in this video, multiple passes are needed to drop all the equipment needed, thus it is a better tactic for smaller units.

    • @dustingourdin6457
      @dustingourdin6457 3 года назад +1

      If you watch the yellow smoke you see they're landing into the wind. Makes the touchdown much 'lighter'. Definitely quality equipment, but I'm willing to bet these guys could do it just the same with a mid 1960's set up. They're that good. They make it look easy. (As most professionals do,) It's worth noting that tandem insertion is by far the most dangerous of all military insertion methods with somthing like 1 out of every 4 jumps resulting in an injury. Notice how the operator protects his tandem partner from being pulled down by the parachute even after the touchdown. That's a real pro, a great teammate and probably saves the airforce hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential lost personal hours and medical bills if he takes care of ppl like that. Really really good work here in this video, smart team play and a little bit of style with the frontflipper 😉 well done.
