The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-blade, twin-engine, medium-lift utility helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft. The UH-60 Black Hawk entered service with the U.S. Army in 1979, to replace the Bell UH-1 Iroquois as the Army's tactical transport helicopter.
The Black Hawk multirole helicopter serves with the U.S. military and the armed forces of 28 other countries worldwide as a tough, reliable utility helicopter.
United States Army, 34th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Air Force.
Every time I see a video of the men and women of service...it just make me understand and appreciate them ten times as much...wow!! The things they do to keep our country safe and respected.....is beyond words....I want to send out a complete congratulations and thank you to all who serve and have served!!!!

Mighty 7th ID infantryman here. we love Blackhawks, Apaches, and Bradley / Abrams tanks.
Us tankers have always wonder how the infantry manages to fight efficiently, considering they all have massive balls to drag around.

Had a couple of Australian army Blackhawks with drop tanks fly over a few days ago near Holsworthy army base.
Those tanks make them look even more awesome. 😀

I flew a 60 with ERFS tanks from southern Alabama to Ft Bragg nonstop. Great range extender, just remember to empty your bladder before you start. 😊

Always put the cap lid tabs facing toward the back so air wont get under them n lift n unlock the fuel cap.

Fueler put that cap on backwards on the external tank. The air stream can potentially get underneath it and lift the tab, and you may lose the fuel cap.
That’s never happened. It’s lore.
However not the best practice.
@@terrencejackson4587 it does happen. I used to work at several airports and this would happen at least once a year. Slipstream would empty the tank.

Fuel tank caps should be inserted with the latch lift facing aft (to prevent airflow from lifting it if not completely secure). Basic precaution which should have been learned in initial training.
As an inventor, so much I've seen in this video needs to redesigned.
The cap has been installed incorrectly….. I hope the pilot or crew chief caught it before next sortie…. The 3 prongs are designed so it will line up and the lock tab will be pushed down by airflow…. BE SAFE OUT THERE!!!!!! ❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🙏
Good catch, meant to be aligned with direction of flight. Unless things are different with the fuel tank latch on Blackhawk.
@@wootle I assure you they are not, the cap even has an arrow with FWD written on it indicating which way it should be installed. Unfortunately Fuelers across the Army make the same mistakes constantly..

Helicopters look great but on the battlefield they always lose and get shot down a lot by the militants. The US is only good at the game
