  • It's a holiday season from Rick Sebak and his jolly crew. When winter arrives, people of Pittsburgh have ways of coping with the gloom. It's a time of parties, shopping, celebrating, going to worship services, renewing friendships and jumping in the frozen river. We look at some of the things that make the end of the year and the start of the new one special times in Western Pennsylvania. It's a joyous, light-filled celebration of hometown happiness.

I do too. I left around the holidays in 2002 and I really regret it. Perhaps one day I'll return to live.

Thank you so much for uploading this, WQED! My uncle was the Grecian Odyssey Dancer that was interviewed. He passed away earlier this year unexpectedly so we are grateful to have seen his spirit memorialized here and see him again.

Kaufman’s was open. Recession was mentioned. What year was this made ‘09?
    Tragic. Fun show though.
I use to live in Pittsburgh. Sad how the once charming traditional American culture will be entirely erased/replaced in the near future. I think they call it cancel culture.
