PMS & PMDD (More Love) Meditation

  • This meditation is for those who want to have peace at that time of the month which can cause the mind to speed up and the thoughts to be become destructive.
    I know it’s hard to believe that you can override those thoughts and not react to them. I struggle myself too. But we have to trust that we CAN. After our period, we usually gain clarity and can see it for what it is. We might have to spend that time picking up the pieces or mending the relationships that were damaged in the second half of our cycle. I’ve been there many many times before.
    This meditation is specifically for use when the emotion and mental effects of PMS and PMDD is in full flow. Listen as many times as you can, and I send you a huge hug and a big bag of ‘I know how you’re feeling’ empathy.
    Sit comfortably in a space. Lie down if you wish. If you need to rest lay flat on a bed, or get comfy with pillows. If you need your mind to settle quicker, sit upright - cross legged or on a chair. Spine straight. Hands relaxed onto your legs, palms up.

    This was exactly what I needed, thank you. I’m a few days into my luteal phase. I’ve been feeling moody and anxious for seemingly no reason. I’m about to attend a get-together with my boyfriend and some friends, and I was getting nervous about it. This helped center me and calm my thoughts. Thank you, again!
