They seem punk/thrash/odd --- When Lombardo went back to Slayer i thought it was great, and the two albums he did with them i thought were so much better than the ones without him (I do love most Slayer, not too hip on the most recent release)

Remember that all of the great's in any genre of music became legends by taking risks and were popular becuase no one else was like them. Have you ever checked out Grip Inc.? Another band Lombardo put together mid 90's to early 2000's.
Robert dead cross is still in pre orders. They have one song released, and it's awesome. Also fuck yeah for grip inc. One of the best bands ever.
