I been going deep in dreams lately. Feel like I've pushed it's limits. At least for my style. But tempted to just to open myself to possibilities of the app
I don't have an ipad :( Edit : also thank you for sharing tips for free to animators like me ( why do I call myself an animator I mean look at my animations XD)
Do you have a laptop/PC or a cell phone? If you make animations on a PC/laptop, I recommend the free program Pencil2D. For something more fancy, I totally recommend Blender Grease Pencil.
We are banned from international banks so we don’t have any ways to pay in Afghanistan because of sanctions , is it possible i can have this course for free?
Hi ! This sounds cool ! I've already have a course I have to finish on drawing though. But if it stays available in time I'll surely take it later (probably in some months). Just a question though, how is it doing stuff on procreate dreams ? I tried it a bit and the functions are great but I can't get off from procreate (the original) because there's some functions that I really love and that I'll miss in dreams. For example being able to change the stabilization for each brush differently, the effects like the glow, and also the ability to merge layers. That kind of things are very useful to me. Though the ability to have parallax in dreams (moving background) is extremly useful and is one of the main things that lack in procreate to me. Just wanted to know your feelings about it. Also do you use the original procreate in your workflow ? (I hope this isn't too many questions, thanks anyway for proposing this course)
Yes! I think all of those functions should be coming to dreams in the future. Fingers crossed. For now I do my designs and backgrounds in procreate then I do the animation and cameras in dreams
@@AlexGriggAnimation Thank you for your answers ! Seems like you have a great workflow, though personally I'm not a fan of having to switch applications. But hey, as long as it works. Anyway big thanks ! Have an awesome day !
Any advice on buying an iPad for Dreams? I only own a Mac mini, but my friend says getting an iPad has really benefited his art with its convenience. Any advice would be appreciated.
Um at this stage I don't know if it's worth getting an iPad just dreams. I use regular Procreate all the time though. If you don't have any drawing tablet at all it could be worth it, or you could consider a tablet for your Mac mini :)
@@AlexGriggAnimation thank you for the input. Currently I only have access to Photoshop CC and LightRoom. My friend has really seemed to enjoy using procreate these past few years. I’ve never used it as I don’t have an IPad. I do have a Wacom tablet, but I generally don’t like sitting in at the desk to draw. In college, I used to carry around a Moleskine sketchbook all the time, but I have not picked up a pencil or brush since 2020.
Oh interesting question! If you try it out and think that its too hard just ask your parents to email me via my website and I can refund you. Give the Learn Procreate Dreams class on my channel a go too. Its free!
I took this course. It was amazing. Very easy to follow for an intermediate hobbyist.
Alex Grigg // Animation for Anyone, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
Omg I have been looking for a course on this 🎉

I'm not very experienced in online/animation classes, so sorry if this is obvious, but are the classes live or do we do it in our own time?

Can I use Procreate Dreams for professional work? Is the render and export from the app good enough to deliver directly yo the customer?
