Honestly this proof you can make chiffon cakes even angel food cakes you add so many things. I like her ideas they look good. In US cottage food law where sell at home has to be something that does not require refrigeration.

She decorates all those delicate cakes so beautifully, and then she packages them perfectly in cellophane wrap, without destroying the decorations! In awe of how she does all that and doesn’t seem to ruin even a single one. Those are ninja skills right there. Wow!

I have had the pleasure of traveling to Japan on three different occasions. It was a true delight to experience Japanese hospitality firsthand. Japanese culture prides itself on hard work and dedication to the quality of their work. They place high value on exceeding the expectations of their customers with great attention to the small details. The cakes and pastries I ate, while in Japan, were so fresh and deliciously addictive.
What I really admire is how through the whole process of making and baking, her entire work surface remains perfectly clean. Nothing is spilled or splashed, you can barely see a crumb! That really takes practice and dedication.
I’ve noticed with all the Japanese people I watch wether it’s cleaning their homes or cooking, it’s all done as quiet as possible and with the least disturbance to others. A very respectful culture
I'm in awe of every part of the process - even the neat and precise way she wraps and labels her slices. In my dreams I have the perfection of a Japanese craftsperson. What an amazing culture and I'm glad it continues with younger generations.

Mind blowing! Am I wrong in thinking this amazing young lady learned to bake in a much larger establishment and adapted what she learned to the most efficient and elegant ‘tiny kitchen’ I have ever seen? Not a wasted square inch, not a wasted motion , and clearly a talented master baker, or she would not be sold out each week. A lot of money went into equipment for her set up and a lot of thinking went into its design. So much of her work done with a simple Kitchenaid ( or equivalent) hand mixer. Simply Amazing. I learned how to bake from RUclips. I made my parents wedding cake, I’ve made strawberry and chocolate chiffon cake, tea chiffon cake, tiramisu, blueberry jello cheesecake, peach cheesecake, chocolate coffee crepe cake etc. Im not saying you’re wrong but all imma say is that with internet access today a lot is possible at home🤣🤙🏻

This was incredibly impressive to watch! The organization, efficiency, beautiful storefront, clean kitchen, absolutely amazing. Not to mention all of the hard work that wasn't captured in the video like the planning, shopping, cleaning, etc. All of the cakes looked deliciously mouth watering. Would be nice if the baked goodies could be shipped to the US. But happy the neighborhood gets to enjoy the sweet treats. I can fully understood her concept, just work hard for half day and you have peace the rest of the day, doesnt need to earn alot and no need to handle staff, there is a rich concept and way of life, sometimes going big can kill ones passion, this is the way she maintained it, simplicity.
Amazing how she produces so much product in such a tiny kitchen yet everything remains totally spotless throughout. Plastic wrap over the mixer to prevent it splashing is absolute genius, I am going to use that.

Initially I wondered why you cut the middle of the slice cake, then when you started filling the gaps with whipped cream, it became familiar that Japanese eat with cream & fruits! I’ve traveled to Kyoto while visiting my daughter in Yokohama. Hate I didn’t know about this gem. What I do know is every task/product i observed/purchased were completed/wrapped with meticulous detail, precision, and in excellence. The interactions and services were always extremely polite. My mother used to make a light, fluffy lemon chiffon cake like this baker does in the beginning, but my mom never made more than one or two plain cakes at a time for our family or to share at a gathering, which everyone enjoyed. If she were still alive, sheʻd love to see all the wonderful things this woman creates with her chiffon cakes. She must have worked for a commercial bakery and is now running her own business at home. In the U.S., we wouldnʻt call where she works a garage - Most American cars wouldn't fit in there and it's more like a storage shed, but she works with the usual Japanese speed and efficiency in a very small and clean space -- and does everything all by herself! All the work and time she takes to prepare, package, and label her products (not showing the time she has to spend shopping, ordering, and cleaning up) are much much, more than the two hours it takes for her to sell out! It looks like she only opens her shop two days a week, so I wonder how much money she makes. It's the kind of small neighborhood business that is worth waiting for!

今70歳の私が子供のころ、近所のおばあちゃんが自家製の和菓子を縁側で売っていて和菓子おばあちゃんと呼ばれて親しまれていました。私が高校に入るころにそのお菓子のファンだったお嫁さんも参加するようになって、おじいちゃんが縁側前の生け垣を取っ払って庭に小さなお店をプレゼントして話題になりました。今も続く地元で人気の和菓子屋さんです。
和菓子にしろパン屋さんにしろ、今老舗と言われている数々の大きなお店も、初代のほとんどが自宅で一人で始めたんです。
私は在外45年になりますが、海外のあちこちと比べても、日本は仰るような統制された窮屈な国ではありませんよ。

This was incredibly impressive to watch! The organization, efficiency, beautiful storefront, clean kitchen, absolutely amazing. Not to mention all of the hard work that wasn't captured in the video like the planning, shopping, cleaning, etc. All of the cakes looked deliciously mouth watering. Would be nice if the baked goodies could be shipped to the US. But happy the neighborhood gets to enjoy the sweet treats. I also love that everyone around the globe appreciates the artistry and hard work you have put into your shop. Congratulations and thank you for sharing! 😊💙🖤✨

I can fully understood her concept, just work hard for half day and you have peace the rest of the day, doesnt need to earn alot and no need to handle staff, there is a rich concept and way of life, sometimes going big can kill ones passion, this is the way she maintained it, simplicity.
Amazing how she produces so much product in such a tiny kitchen yet everything remains totally spotless throughout. Plastic wrap over the mixer to prevent it splashing is absolute genius, I am going to use that.

Initially I wondered why you cut the middle of the slice cake, then when you started filling the gaps with whipped cream, it became familiar that Japanese eat with cream & fruits! The packing were beautiful and orchestrated efficiently! Am inspired!

I’ve traveled to Kyoto while visiting my daughter in Yokohama. Hate I didn’t know about this gem. What I do know is every task/product i observed/purchased were completed/wrapped with meticulous detail, precision, and in excellence. The interactions and services were always extremely polite. Kudos to her, and I wish her much success.

My mother used to make a light, fluffy lemon chiffon cake like this baker does in the beginning, but my mom never made more than one or two plain cakes at a time for our family or to share at a gathering, which everyone enjoyed. If she were still alive, sheʻd love to see all the wonderful things this woman creates with her chiffon cakes. She must have worked for a commercial bakery and is now running her own business at home. In the U.S., we wouldnʻt call where she works a garage - Most American cars wouldn't fit in there and it's more like a storage shed, but she works with the usual Japanese speed and efficiency in a very small and clean space -- and does everything all by herself! All the work and time she takes to prepare, package, and label her products (not showing the time she has to spend shopping, ordering, and cleaning up) are much much, more than the two hours it takes for her to sell out! It looks like she only opens her shop two days a week, so I wonder how much money she makes. It's the kind of small neighborhood business that is worth waiting for!

Trabalhei numa confeitaria onde produzíamos chiffons. O clima estressante e corrido de um ambiente de trabalho muitas vezes interfere no prazer de criar delícias como essas. O que pra alguém que adora gastronomia como eu, era uma provação. Então eu me imaginava num outro lugar, talvez até em casa, produzindo doces, pães e bolo e vendendo por conta própria. Sem chefes, cobranças e problemas de equipe. Esse vídeo é a materialização desse "sonho" que eu tinha. Foi uma delícia de assistir cada segundo dele. Quem sabe um dia eu tbm tenha minha mini lojinha.
