The beautiful thing about the V8 R8 is the fact that yes, if something does go wrong it can be expensive, but on the whole they are pretty damn reliable. Do your research, find out what the common issues are and how to spot them and be prepared to negotiate the price down/walk away from any that could be problematic. I've had mine for a year and a half now and apart from a new hand brake cable, I've had ZERO issues.
The r8 looks stunning and exotic feels special 8300 rpm na engine with gated manual good example with 70to80k miles can get 1 for around the 32k mark and really have not budged in terms of pricing that gated manual is nuts and hold a premium over rtronic
Most money I've lost on a car - the GS450h lost me £8k. To be fair though, it cost me £20k while my next most expensive non-Porsche is my current Pug for £16k and that's probably lost me £7k of that in under a year 🤔 Both cheap cars to run, but the depreciation made the porker cheaper overall! In percentage terms though, my Punto depreciated 112.5% since I had to pay someone to get rid of it 🤣 I suspect the F82/3 M4 will keep dropping for a while yet - it's unreliable, common as muck and isn't a last of its breed type of thing as the latest one is meant to be very good too. The F82/3 was better than I expected though, the interior put me off before and it's the reliability stopping me having a 2nd look really, but it's not entirely un-tempting.
I just want a V8. got a £60K budget. At the moment its either the C63 or the Audi RS6 Avant. Originally I wanted a RR Sport SVR 18 Reg, but my insurance came back at £6300 for the year. I can't justify that insurance for a Land Rover. Maybe for a more exotic car, i thought thats what it was going to be for the RS6 but that came back at a reasonable price to insure at £3500 for the year. be sick if you made a video for best V8's under £40K or £50K. Sick content, great to have another opinion.
F Pace SVR is your best bet. And for that budget you will be likely looking at 21/22 reg, possibly could hit 23 if lucky. I have a F Type R (new shape/head lights) so R is what they call SVR now with 575hp 700nm etc and that for me is less than 650 to insure.
cars for people above 6ft... im 6ft5... most ive realised is if im getting a Merc.. the c class doesnt cut it... if llove to own a sports car.. even some of he ones in he video... room is my concern
If you stand at a slight angle then you won't have that blinding reflection my guy. Also, nice one scaling down on the rings....you look a lot more sophisticated and mature. And so is your content. Well done

Great vid as always. Looks like I'll be treating myself to an M4 :)

Will you make more Miata videos?
I'm currently saving up for an R8 V8, I just know they are gonna fly up in value in the future being a mid engined Super car
Not at all…It’s a V8, save your money for the v10
Looks like I am buying that Lexus.

You know you’re not you scruffy bastard 😂😂😂😂😂
28k to 57k for an r8 is hardly cheap

Exotic.....not sure about that.
who else despises the revving intro sound?
too loud anyways
Not me
Nissan 370z is considered exotic? Seriously?😂
why don't you make your own video instead of negative comments??
Agree, and probably wouldn't call any of this list exotic. 370z certainly not worth £30k. And the VED on pre 17 ones is £710. Not for me.
