    One of my favourite videos for sometime with all being considered, the models suggested have all given me food for thoughts

    As this video was about depreciation, it would have been useful to understand the list prices when new so we could judge what kind of depreciation has occurred and which were the best deals.

      It also has terrible interior, Plast everywhere, low hp engine, low used price tag compared to other cars

    For me, the XJ and the Bentley both feel a step up in luxury compared to the rest, it'd be the XJ for me. Most of the rest don't feel like a big enough step up from the smaller cars in their range, although I've been in a lot of the smaller cars and I actually don't think I've been in any car on this list at all (not counting older/newer gens).

      The S class and 7 series in the right specs are also incredible inside and I might add to that list - the S class I went for a ride in a few years ago I’ve been in the 7 series quite recently!

      @@CarsWithJB I'm probably being a bit harsh on them since the overall design is so similar to the cheaper models to be fair, it's hard to see the material quality and all the nice features properly without being sat in them!

      The superb is a brilliant car especially in Lawrence & clement spec, you need to look past your big empty head and see there's far more to life and comfort than just brand names, Skoda takes a lot of tech from audi & Porsche being under the vw umbrella if you care so much

    Don't they do a version of the Skoda Superb Laurin & Klement with a slightly detuned version of the Golf R 2.0T? That would seem to be more the sort of thing for this channel vs the one in the video. 280bhp (I assume you can remap to 350ish much the same as the Golf), 0-60 in 5.6s and under £20k although... there are hardly any of them on Autotrader.

    For anyone who believes chauffeurs vehicles are well maintained, they're not. Maintenance is just enough to keep it running and nothing more. There may be exceptions but in general, you're buying a badly beat up car, so pay accordlingly.

    These cars are not “cheap” to maintain. Everyone knows British cars are money pits, but so are German cars. My buddy owns an auto repair shop and it’s always filled with MB and BMWs.

    Can a list be made WITHOUT Audi & BMW? They're in every list you make

    • @ApothecaryTerry
      @ApothecaryTerry 9 месяцев назад +1

      They make a lot of cars, across a wide range of styles and they're extremely popular, particularly in the UK, so they get views/likes. Means they're kinda hard to avoid...only 1 of my 6 cars has been German, not an Audi/BMW/Merc/VW and yet I don't think I could make a top 10 car list without at least one of those on it. At least, not cars that are somewhat sensible for regular use.
      That said, top 10s from specific countries are always fun - but I think JB has done 2 and while 1 (Japanese tuner cars) got decent views, the other (American muscle) seems to not have done very well. I'd say "I'd vote for a video on Italian/French/British/whatever cars" but realistically I tend to watch them all anyway, which makes that a redundant statement...

    I understand that English is probably not your presenter's first language, but to speak this poorly without subtitles is insulting to your viewers.
