Aerial oblique Crossroads Able color

Alright, although I thought this was possibly a Redwing test because of what I thought was the LaCrosse crater toward the bottom, everyone points out that this is Crossroads Able. This is probably the smoothest 35mm color photography from Able as the 35mm motion picture color photography had been subbed out to Technicolor using a "monopak" (another name for Kodachrome). For most of the color 35mm photography required a lot of stabilization because its possible those cameras and cameramen were not used to operating those cameras. I'd still like to know what that huge crater is doing there if this is Crossroads Able.

That's Crossroads Able, no doubt about it. I compared it to other footage. Exact same location, exact same mushroom cloud, same time of day, same fireball, same everything. Even the ships.

Yes, it’s Crossroads Able.
Obvious Bikini atoll too.
But it can happen to anyone, mislabeled uploads. Or uploading the wrong media.

It looks a lot like Crossroads Able. Especially the row of 4 clouds to the left of the blast look identical to other footage.
But instead of going by look, you can overlay a map image of Bikini Atoll and it almost perfectly matches up (and I can't figure out how to rotate Enewetak atoll to fit), the island on the bottom left of the screen is Enyu, with the island of Bikini (where you see a crater?) is to the right.
If I'm right then the little bend in the top left of the frame is where they detonated Castle Bravo and where the nuke is detonated is smack-dab ground zero of the detonation point of Crossroads Able. If you zoom in you can even see some black specs on the water and in the massive cloud which could be the ships from the test.

Alright, I give up, when the bomb lights up it does look like there is a target armada in the light so maybe it is Crossroads Able. I'd still like to know what that crater is down towards the right. Most of the color 35mm motion picture photography from Able needed a lot of stabilization as it was handled by Technicolor and they weren't good at keeping those cameras steady.

@@atomcentral ​ The target armada looks visible starting at about 0:07 and clearly at 0:10? I see 8 gigantic plumes of black smoke that could honestly only come from capital-sized ships like carriers or battleships getting toasted by the thermal pulse. Looking at diagrams of the armada laid out it seems plausible.
I cannot see the crater you are referring to though, there are some "cuts" in the islands but that seem to be just regular washing of waves, if there were craters I'd expect the water being a lot more blue/black from the depth of the water after the test.
The easiest way to see which atoll it is (Bikini or Enetawak) is to take a map and rotate it about 80 degrees to the right (so north is to the right), with a bit of perspective skew you can fit Bikini Atoll almost perfectly to the shape in the video.

it has that look, however if that large crater in front of it is from LaCrosse, that would be 1956. Also, the color photography on Crossroads Able wasn't very steady at all and moved around quite a bit.
