My neighbor has a Kangal. Katie is the most gentle, sweet-natured dog in the world, but most importantly, she is my buddy. Her Dad has her very well socialized, and the neighborhood kids love her. If anyone or anything attacked me, her instincts would kick in in less than a heartbeat. I'm glad she's my friend.
I have 2 caucasian shepherd 1 was weighing 190 the other 170 they are brother's and they both lost 20lbs this summer in the mid west they too are probably sitting in the air conditioner don't care for the heat but in the winter time you can't get them in the house they are 18 months old
i knew a girl in Orlando that had a kangal & a grey pit mix .. It was as tall as a kangal but it had more of the pitbul genes and looks ..It was amazing very beautiful dog very well trained very intimidating looking ... it was the beast of the beasts

I don't know if Kangal can cope with the wolf or not, but they are very affectionate, docile and a very good friend. He is not afraid of any living creature when he senses danger. He fights at the cost of his death. It gives confidence to its owner.

Real Kangals bark a lot, especially at night. I’ve owned a couple of Kangals and they bark anytime they see or hear something that’s out of place. Incredibly protective breed!
@@Tquanzz A tractor does not have claws... 🙂 The world's strongest man can pull WAY more than 3000 kg:s, but would still probably have a big problem fighting with a Kangal. I don't know how much a bear could pull (and it has zero relevance here), but it is crazy strong, extremely agile and has those mentioned claws. If a bear goes in "full attack mode", then the Kangal has a real problem... I'm a dog lover that has a lot of experience with dogs, by the way! 🙂
I've got a Great Pyrenees Mastiff and I've got an alabai.. the alabai got the edge.. with strength and being fierce but the Pyrenees Mastiff seems to have better hearing and a little bit more aware..

Sure it will fend it off because it can't get hold of the situation... frustration etc. But everyone...don't ever let your dog, any breed go near an adult brown bear. And about Eu or NA species , it's correct. Also, many people don't have in mind that even in the same species/breed you can find great disparity in power. There are wolves that can take 1v1 a bison, not all of them can... very few can though. There are wolves that can take on 2-3 other wolves and come on top... some big alphas can. In every species... go see lions, some of them get their ass handed to them by hyenas, some others delete a pack of Hyenas ... some of them can 1v2 other lions . Yes a Kangal can take down a wolf, as many guardian dogs can... which wolf is another story. The kangal is a strong breed. No doubt about it. However, I wouldn't call it the strongest breed. While it is high on the list, there are several breeds that do have more impressive strength feats. Take the American Pitbull for example. Not only are there videos of Pitbulls doing things like pulling carts with over 12,000 pounds, pulling two trucks at once, etc., but there are videos and news stories where one Pitbull is able to bring down animals as large as llamas, horses, and cows. It's not that surprising since Pitbulls were bred to take on animals like bulls, bears, and wild boar.

I came across 2 Kangals at National Park Velebit in Croatia and they just came to smell me. I stud still for a moment then they retreat to shade...I was no threat to them or livestock they watherd for the bears of wolfs

Верные, преданные до нельзя. Мой поджарый Бадик спасал меня от дворовых собак. Скрещëнка с кавказцем. Тело простой бойцовской дворняги, но сердце с верной, чистой породы душой.

Правильно натасканный Кангал или САО вполне может, правильный подход к воспитанию очень важен,я видел видео где не крупный волк хватал за нос пита и все,здесь другое,не будем забывать про Ирландского волкодава,но все Кангал рулит,слышал про забытые системы воспитания их,где самый ярый Альфа в стае проигрывает в схватке.

Il cangal è un cane mastino come gli altri soltanto pompate esageratamente dai proprietari gasati che li allevano e gli insegnano ad essere aggressivi poi gli mettono collari chiodati per non permettere ai lupi di attaccarli dato che i lupi per uccidere attaccano prevalentemente alla gola quindi rendono la lotta vantaggiosa per il cane che ha come unica forza superiore al lupo il peso a me questi video fanno schifo

The kangal is a strong breed. No doubt about it. However, I wouldn't call it the strongest breed. While it is high on the list, there are several breeds that do have more impressive strength feats. Take the American Pitbull for example. Not only are there videos of Pitbulls doing things like pulling carts with over 12,000 pounds, pulling two trucks at once, etc., but there are videos and news stories where one Pitbull is able to bring down animals as large as llamas, horses, and cows. It's not that surprising since Pitbulls were bred to take on animals like bulls, bears, and wild boar.
The way I look at it, these dogs have more intelligence than their owners.😂

I think in my native language xangal means an extremely voracious/insatiable person which is a perfect description of this breed.

I came across 2 Kangals at National Park Velebit in Croatia and they just came to smell me. I stud still for a moment then they retreat to shade...I was no threat to them or livestock they watherd for the bears of wolfs

Верные, преданные до нельзя. Мой поджарый Бадик спасал меня от дворовых собак. Скрещëнка с кавказцем. Тело простой бойцовской дворняги, но сердце с верной, чистой породы душой.

Итог, утро, несколько овец пропало.... собаки посечены,в общем ничего непонятно..... Сказали что это нормальная ситуация, житейская....
согласен бро, в якутии видел как волк в размерах как кангал, просто в ласкуты порвал! хозяин кангала был очень расстроен, думал купил себе мощную собаку но не учёл, что азиатские волки в разы меньше наших сибирских и северных

Правильно натасканный Кангал или САО вполне может, правильный подход к воспитанию очень важен,я видел видео где не крупный волк хватал за нос пита и все,здесь другое,не будем забывать про Ирландского волкодава,но все Кангал рулит,слышал про забытые системы воспитания их,где самый ярый Альфа в стае проигрывает в схватке.
