I'd like to see you do more.
I've had the AQ2 14x6" snare in the same finish as your kit for 6 years, and I confirm these sound absolutely awesome!
Mine did not hold tuning and snare tension at all though, I've lost a couple of bottom tension rods on the studio floor, and always had the usual top 4 back out really easily despite the tunesafe (rimshots, yaaay😬).
Thanks for the comment Gabriele. Always interesting to hear other people’s experiences. That’s interesting to hear about the tuning. I can’t say I’ve had this problem but I will certainly keep an eye on it and see if it’s more a long term issue. But like I said I don’t have that issue currently.
Fantastic review! I am considering this kit but with the 16x15 bass drum. Should I go for it ? Is bass drum too small?
@@lcollet4530 it totally depends if you want the kit for portability. If you're leaving the kit setup in studio go with the largest bass drum size you can. I find the bass drum I got is a really nice size. 20inch bass.
