That Shaq at 13:00 of the video is about a $300-400 card in PSA 10 right now in 2022. "Still going Jordan-less" (opening early series packs from the 94-95 season)
I’m glad you liked it! I have plenty more Jordan Hunting videos to watch. 😁 You can still buy boxes of these on eBay for fairly cheap. Pick up a box or two and have some fun. 👍🏻
@@SageTheCollector I have been watching a number of the Jordan ones you have done and I'm enjoying them :) I live in Australia so I'm not sure, but I think getting these boxes cheap is harder when you don't live in America with shipping cost and other cost. Can I ask what is the average cost of a box of each these would you pay?
Yeah. Everything is more expensive in Australia with shipping for sure. That makes it harder. I bought my boxes right before the prices jumped so I only paid about $20-$30 USD per box.
You crash the game cards & the Super Team cards were so dope back in the 90's , definitely didnt think it could get better in the way sports cards were headed, but wow i was wrong
How many people know Danny Ainge was 2 star athlete the super rare MLB & NBA thats some serious skills & severely underrated from my generation X, and why not more love being shown
Haha it’s so crazy that I have binders and binders and binders of these cards. I was just looking at the silver Jordan card in the background and realized I have a near complete set of that. Along with the gold all star cards from that set. 91’ - 95/96 was when I collected hardcore. Most of the cards are in pretty good condition. Definitely PSA 7 or greater imo.
Chris Jackson? I liked the design of the '93-94 Fleer. If the manufacturers would have left the card backs "paper" we wouldn't have the bricking of today. But who knew right? Fun rip if nothing else. You wouldn't miss the Topps Black Gold. Pretty much the whole card is Black with some gold foil. They were 1 per box I think.
I want my gold star, I stuck through the whole video! 😁. Nice Jordan hunting video. His 90’s stuff is going for crazy prices graded at a 10 because of the documentary. Looked forward to watching more of these!
The good old times with upper deck. The you crash the game insert was fun and I believe they ended up changing the name of it to you predict. I wonder why they stopped doing that since it’s kinda like fantasy sports.
That Stockton card is an example of him working at McDonald's drive through if he hadnt made it a professional basketball player / A+ No look pass specialist
hey this is a cool youtube channel. I am a 10 year old and my dad gave me all of his cards when he was a kid in the early 90s. I started my own youtube channel opening up cards, your youtube has given me some good tips. thanks.
Chris Jackson aka Mahmoud Abdul Raheef was/is considered one of the few at will scorers, this is confessed by MJ, Reggie Miller, Penny, Shaq, Barkley and many other NBA elite players. I mean he was lighting up Ice Cubes 3 player league "The Big 3". He was one of the Top Scorers and he is 50+, dude is a killer, its a shame what the league did
That Shawn Kemp packs to the top right, I had the card and it was rebounding. They said if he reaches a certain amount of rebounds for the year I can submit it and get the whole collection. I never sent it in and never checked if he got the rebounds that year or not.
Nice video, dude 👍🏻As a kid, I had a ton of these trading cards....God knows whatever happened to them. I bought a '91-'92 Upper Deck Larry Bird and Drazen Petrovic, and a '90-'91 Sky Box Reggie Lewis.
Those crash the game cards were awesome!! If the player got whatever they were supposed to get 10 rebounds or 10 assists you would get a set of cards in silver, gold, or platinum!!
I've actually got some Jordans coming back from PSA in the next month or two. I also did a big PSA reveal video w/ a bunch of Jordans last year. Check it out.

I have had success with getting the likes of Muggsy Bogues, Glen Rice, etc. I am not positive but I am pretty sure that is a Jason Kidd parallel RC you pulled out of the Upper Deck Pack, not a huge insert but definitely worthy of throwing in a top loader because that set is hugely condition sensitive with those black borders. Hey man, that second in from the right NBA Hoops Jordan you got showcased, I think it's #65, but you ever hear of any misprints of that card??? I was going through a few boxes of that series 2 90-91 nba hoops last week and got TWO MJ #65 misprints that had Jay Humphries back printed on the back. . Ever hear of any one else finding these? I can't find any on Ebay past or present or even mentioned on any card sites...
@@iliketocomment8144 Ah. Those aren't rookie cards; they're just called Rookie Sensations. (I agree, it's slightly confusing.) They're cards of rookies from the previous season.

Good stuff man. Going through about 5 boxes of the 90-91 Skybox set, both series, right now... My personal favorite so far is Johnny Moore because he's one of the few guys from my hometown to have made it to the NBA. It was also Moore's last season and the inaugural season for Skybox so his only skybox card. . .He was also one of the guys from Altoona that I never had a card from so this one was my first. The other Altoona guys I collect are Mike Iuzzolino, Doug West, and Danny Fortson (Who was born in Philly, but was raised in Altoona and played high school ball at AAHS before transferring to Shaler (I think) in Pittsburgh for his senior season, so, people still claim him as an Altoona hooper quite often). Doug West is actually the current Altoona High varsity basketball coach. I think Izzy coaches for Robert Morris now maybe...
As someone who grew up in the late 80's early 90's, we didn't even want those 90' Skybox fleer back then, why the hell people want them now is beyond me and cracks me up.
Jordan hunting is catchy that is why I saw the video but maaaaan you should do some more research on the players names and cards. I didn’t understand why you took soo long to see the differences in Mugsy’s collector’s choice base card and the players choice seal...
We can't all be experts on all sets. And I certainly don't pretend to be an expert. It's all for fun. And I think I'm pretty good with names, especially during this era.
If you think about it CL isn't that weird of a pick for the Dream Team... That was the first year pros were allowed on the Olympic b ball teams but there was a stipulation that at least NCAA player was on the team (Or something like this.. I forget the technical explinaiton). Sure Shaq and Mourning were there, but they didn't win in college like CL did, and this had historically been a college athlete based team.. so it sorta makes sense to pick a guy who won NCAA 2 Championships and was player of the year... CL did have 1 allstar appearance and spent 8 of his 13 years in the NBA in double digit scoring averages. I feel like his was just a weird size & talent match for his era though.. He probably would have done better in today's league. Teams played him at center at a time when David Robinson, Ewing, Oneal, Mourning, etc were prized and all-star level centers
Hahaha. It’s a $3-$5 card, and that’s way up in the past month. That’s actually not the worst I’ve seen either. Someone had it up for $20k the other night I think. Probably the same guy. 😄

Just a tip my friend, if you put these packs in the freezer for a few hours, they will seperate much easier and no paper loss, im a big 90s collector.
I keep meaning to give this a try. I tried to microwave a brick of non-foil cards the other day, but it actually made the paper loss worse.
@@SageTheCollector yes heating the cards make the glossyness worse, freezing them removes the stickyness..give it a go
I never heard this before, thank you for dropping this knowledge!
