I did a long dive and hit 70 mph and my hatch blew off. I think too much wind came in the nose and pressure increased in the fuselage blowing my hatch off.

I'm actually excited to see a motor other than the 2216 1250. Not taking anything from it, it's great! Just ready to see some nut raggerteering on what looks like an aggressive styled model.

@@chriswayman7240 I just wanted something between a DartXL & my Strix Goblin. DartXL is a bit slow, the Strix won't go slow. Hopefully this set up will be somewhere in between.

Noob question, what is "Laminate"?
Hey Chris, not a n00b question at all. It's simply plastic film that you can iron on to the model. If you've ever been to a restaurant and seen the plastic menu, that stuff but thinner. Helps make models stronger and keeps them clean too. Matt

Finally starting to catch up on videos... You are putting them out at quite the pace. I have a newbie question as I am getting into purchased foam models and you've mentioned mold release a few times now. Is denatured alcohol (aka methelated spirits) safe for both epp and epo foam to remove it? I agree on the vent covers. I'm thinking a nylon window screen might get sacrificed for some of my foamboard models to cover the ventilation openings. 😀
On that pin note, I use little map pins with the round ball ends to mark the cg in my foamboard models as well given that they are quite short and perfect for that (and I don't get the "look" from the wife for nicking her sewing pins).
Hey Adam, yea sometimes they absolutely rinse the mould with release agent and the foam is really slimey. That can be an issue with getting this to stick to it. For example this one on the inside sellotape won't stick! A very light sand if your laminating or a quick wipe with some soapy water or light alcohol will work well.
