I have an old Compaq Presario CQ56 with a fully working screen but dead motherboard, and I just got this Satellite C660, and screen has some scratches on it so I'm going to transfer the screen from CQ56 to C660. As far as I got it, they are the same screens, so it should work.

Let me give you a hints how to know if it is same or not. First check how many pins it has, 40 or 30 pins? Then the size and then finally the thickness. However, I think it would be compatible. Let me know the outcomes. Thanks
