1:30 that Advance would get soaked if that sprinkler head broke.
And your one of the people who inspired me
+Chevybay26 :)
what is the model number of the first emergency light
That bathroom with the electrical Service panel I doubt it’s up to code but it’s a good thing that there isn’t a bidet in there
Awesome!
+VstaarProduction 15 Thanks!
a little worrying about the emergency light right in front of those valves
What’s better out of all the system sensor series
Awesome! That's a cool looking emergency light at 10:29

I once tested an emergency light in a public bathroom and there were no witnesses
Cool man!!!! Love this series!!
+Alexander Goushy Thanks! Glad you do!
Nice 👍
Wait that's what a concealed sprinkler looks like I thought they were just shut off
On the double fire extinguisher part, #whatafirealarmfail
I have a Lithonia EU2 LED hooked up in my room and by sooner I am having Lithonia ECG LED on the front door.
Awesome video! Keep up the great work!
Also my dad is an electrician and he mounts and wires exit signs
+Nick Creeks Thanks!
+Nick Creeks Sweet! What brand of exit signs does he install? Or does he install a variety of signs.
I think he installs a variety of signs, he's an electrician for about like 20 schools
+Nick Creeks Wow! Then I guess he would!
At 0:09 where was the emergency light made from.
I think Cooper Sure Lites makes or used to make them
Great video
+Evan- Bart410 Thanks!
Cool 😎
+Tanner Smyly Thanks!
I am making a video trailer in iMovie and it is to show that I now have something completely new in my collection and at the end I have credits to the people who inspired me it is also showing that I'm back because it's been a long time when I did my last video
+Chevybay26 Sure! I'd be glad to be featured as an inspiration! I'm really glad I inspired you!
Spicy
+Frank Dougherty And dicey
the spectre alert classic on the celling is neat my work installed them in the same manner. the only place they are not celling mounted is in the employee room and in the receiving area. Is this a common occurrence do you think?
+Peter Tedeschi Wow interesting. Not really. Wall mounted devices (or visa versa ceiling mount devices on the wall) on the ceiling usually occurs if installers ether didn't order the right ones, forgot that they had one or more places for the ceiling, or just they don't care.
Thanks!
And with SpectrAlert Advance devices it's perfectly fine because all Advance signals are listed for both wall and ceiling mounting.
+ironmatic 1 No it isn't. On both of my Advances, the sticker says "Wall mount application for only" or something to that extent.
ExitSign250 According to the data sheet, they are.
OMG I LOOK AT THIS VIDEO WHEN I WAS 6 LOL!!!!!!
Cool i liked the video
+Exit sign 1299 Exit signs of South Jersey. Thanks! Glad you did
ExitSign250 I think that emergency light with the missing test button is made by preffered industries
+Exit sign 1299 Exit signs of South Jersey It was originally made by Big Beam, but many companies rebranded it.
Only one word, #whatafirealarmfail!!!
You could save a life with adjusting those emergency lights one day
+STROBEMASTER 19 That is 100% true. That's the reason I do it!
Great reason
ExitSign250 wait you have a brother ExitSign250. Is his name Exitsign77?
No, he isn’t interested in what I do.
ExitSign250 oh ok
What was the code height again
+RaymonTheWolf For what
The fire extinguisher
+RaymonTheWolf From the carrying handle to the ground, the minimum is 3 1/2 feet and the maximum is 5 feet. The one extinguisher I found was around 6 1/2 to 7 feet up on the wall. Then other was mounted on ground level. Heights are for ADA compliance and accessibility.
Hey exitsign250 can I use your RUclips logo for a video I'm making
+Chevybay26 What is it about and why do you need it?

8:30 dead generic at its finest
9:22 did they even try
Its not a matter if if its generic or not. There could be a lithonia elm2/elm that doesn’t work because of an old battery. Its a matter of if the battery is good or not
While that’s partially true, even if a generic unit was functional most do not preform well. Plus they can have a high fail rate. But yes just because it is generic doesn’t mean it will never work. A good brand name unit might not work due to a dead battery.
@@ExitSign250 well if a generic were to fail, I assume its due to its relay switch going bad but there are other possibilities like a bad transformer. I have seen a fire alarm fail vid of an exit sign combo with a bad relay switch (The lamp would come on and off). The plastic of generic units is definitely not the best, I will say

Some kid messed with one of the emergency lights in the bathroom at my high school. Apparently the left lamp head was pushed all the way up at the ceiling while the right one was pointed down to the side towards the door like its supposed to. So I waited til no one was in the restroom. And I pushed the left lamp head to where it would match the position the right lamp head was in. I know I'm not supposed to mess with any equipment like emergency lighting. But I didn't get in trouble. The Janitor told me I could fix it. No harm done!✌
Great! Good work!
ExitSign250 thank you!✌
ExitSign250 I just hate it when an emergency light lamp head is messed up. But people do it on their own. Like they did it again yesterday. Had to re fix it.
ExitSign250 thank you!✌
I agree.
