- We start out the day, like most, doing some simple herd checks. However, we are unable to find our newest calf. Initially, we don’t worry about it too much, but the day goes on and repeated attempts to find it are unsuccessful. Watch and see if we ever succeed! Thanks for watching, eat beef, and God bless!

Yes, this cow-calf pair has me very frustrated!
My lucky enough my father owns a large machine shop. He used to do all the machine work for the large gypsum plate in the united states.
He finally was able to buy them out after he was doing all this work. (Their shop equipment after years not working for them)
My senior year I graduated earlier so I gone to vo-tech and and ended up getting certified in welding.
Honestly I feel blessed between my father shop. I have all the things I need them my experience welding. It's worked out ocd. Perfect for what I make a living out of.
Saves myself a bunch.

I have seen cows mourn over dead calves for days. They stay by the calf a couple of days and then they venture off for food and water but they come back. Hope there is a happy ending to your mystery.

I recently bought a handheld thermal for finding lost calves. It's helped tremendously! Also use it for scanning for coyote hunting as well

We have one and I thought about getting it out, but they are usually bedded down in a thicket if the mama has them hidden. Definitely not a bad idea.

Audio is clear. I had a badly cow that the calf would hide and every day I had to find it so it would go nurse until it got couple weeks old. That bull calf was so aggravating. Alabama guy and we are still both playing basketball.
