A Full Restoration of it is actually really cool. Way too many people want to fully kit out their dream car and mod it to the moon. While I fully respect that dream, I equally respect the dream to bring a car back to being completely original and fresh in the current day. It's gonna be awesome to see this car along the journey and you are going to treasure it forever.

I had one of these, i sold it back in 2013/2014 for $6000 AUD and the bloke who i sold it to sold it on for $8000 AUD. The chassis number and the Nismo arms on that car seems suspiciously familiar to me though the number plates and wheels that car came with are different to mine(though things like that can be easily changed). 🤔 P.S. Benny if you see this, it wasnt shown in the vid but does your car have the interior fuse box cover(or alternatively do you want a spare interior fuse box cover still with Japanese Fuse writings) then hmu and next time your in the Wetherill Park area you can have it (as well as a rusty and bare S13 rear diff cradle if you want it)
Seriously, how good are those original rims?! Nissan got those absolutely 100% right from the factory. Just so clean and they fit the lines and the era so perfectly. I love that look.
I drove a gtr back in 94 in the NT. Ever since I have wanted one and my ability to afford one has increased but the gap between hopes dreams and reality just gets bigger and bigger as the prices go up and up. You are bloody lucky mate! Very happy with the path you are taking too!
Upgrading to OEM Nismo parts should add value to the restoration. Most Purists are okay with factory upgrades. Seeing a restoration being done is just as good as watching mods happen. Keep it up Benny. Great show.

The R32 and R34 are my 2 favorite models of the "newer" styles of skyline. The R32 was so iconic when it was released. The grey is a great color choice. They are usually hard to come by with a decent paint job and not needing tons of work. Looks like the paint looks pretty good on this one and the minor repairs should make an epic series for this Beauty. Glad you got a R32 GTR Benny. Congrats on the new car. She's a looker.
Good work man...there seems to be this thing between about doing a mega dollar full on resto, and PRESERVING an existing car.....in 10 yrs, the preserved car will be worth more to collectors and hard core enthusiasts. Loveyerwork.
Yes the plan is a sympathetic tidy up not a full rotisserie bare shell resto . Re instate the oem bits as well as the rare accessories it had that were removed.
At the start of the video, I just saw the window shape, the C-pillar and the rear seats and I was like, "That looks like a R32" Then Benny says RB26 and I was like, "So I'm right". I was right as it turns out. Love the R32 the most, can't wait for the rest of the series.
They're beautiful machines even in completely factory stock condition. I think there's something really special about owning a car like that, but in it's original form.

Super happy for you to get one of these! I really like the idea of the refresh and back to stock specs. The outro looked a bit like a 90s best motoring. Skinny wheels and everything. Sometimes it feels strange, but having a stock or close to stock car is as much enjoyable as a modified one. I guess we live 20 or 30 years later what would be buying those new (and yes that also means the quirks 30 years ago too). Congrats Benny!
its really surreal to witness the full circle of these cars. From new, to heavily modified and worth nothing and all the way back to making them factory OEM again.
Absolutely love this idea man I’ve done the same with most of jdm cars I’ve owned sold off the aftermarket stuff and put back in original parts I felt by doing that when I sold the car on the owner would appreciate it more and take good care of it
Great Find Benny! I am so happy for you, sell everything that is not original and go for OEM! Get as many dollars together as possible and make it mint! Fix the Leaks and give it a good clean up. I would love to see it all Nissan or Nismo. Fix all the broken bits. This is actually my sons favourite car, but due to prices here in Canada, he can not afford one. Good on you mate!

I love the wheels and it’d be the one thing I’d keep however we had a good offer only 10 minutes after advertising them so they’ve found a new home already.
I do see why people do this to make it stock style from the money side of it, but from an enjoyment point I can't say the stock r32 is anything spectacular. Drove a buddies all stock (new bushings and dampers) r32, it really reminds me of the mid 90's maxima, it has more power and such, but the driving feel really is about the same IMO. Then again the maximas of the 90's where terrific cars!

Caus stock GTRs aren't actually fast anymore compared to the cars running around today, even mid size suvs are faster (a big part of em) than a stock r32 and I'm not talking about a Urus or anything. I feel that an oem+ build keeps the essence of a racecar for the streets still shredding in modern times you know?
Love it... and I took off the aftermarket suspension and after market wheels, had stock wheels refurbished, added centre resonators to the exhaust etc of my z32 300zx and its so much more use able as an all rounder car so I can see your vision 👍
Seems you really got yourself a treat. It really seems in great shape. Congratulations, this is the dream car of many gran turismo players around the world 😁😁 (mine included). Hope you can find all the OEM stuff you want, but don't get caught in the "purity" trap. Go for the basic reliability/performance mods and extract the max joy from this beast.
I turned down a r33 vspec in midnight purple for 12 grand. It had a lot of corrosion on the strut towers and needed gearbox a rebuild, and that was only the major stuff.. and I still think it was the one that got away..
Hi Benny, maybe you can look into dry-ice blasting the underside of the car? Nowadays you see many car restorers utilize this technique to get rid of the dust, oil and road grime of the underside without harming the paint. Would be quite interesting to see if you can find a company nearby you that has those machines for rent or exploit it as a service. Good luck! Awesome job as always!

I run the bilsteins too, can put you in touch with the guy that did their valving if they need a reco.
