    There are about three or four videos with you and JT that have helped fit the pieces together. Great work, and you two make a super team.

    excellent video and explanation -- turning the right hip back and behind as the impetus for the shift back to the lead side -- that's gold, right there

    Eric, was good to see you refer to unweighting. I was a high end skier in my earlier years and equate this golf movement to the same unweighting you do between ski turns. I think it’s a better description of what’s happening than what most instructors use. Feel to me is between P2 to P4 you’re in that unweighting transition.

      :) See what works best for you!
      Remember......we are saying shift the pressure in the feet to the right.........but not very much mass of the body.
      So in reality its not much different but I hear ya

    Struggling a bit to tie this up with other advice to keep weight forward and not to shift back- ie Saguto, Franks ,Cogorno ...lol. Seriously, enjoying the videos. Helpful for a beginner like me.

    Any comments on reverse C?

    • @PerformanceGolfZone
      @PerformanceGolfZone  Месяц назад

      Hey! Yes Reverse C is good----hips forward, head back with rotation.....all the greats have done it :) Success leaves clues....
      Key is reverse C with weight on lead foot not back

    Lift the left foot as you take away. When you reach the top of the back swing you immediately press the left foot down , which transfers the weight over onto the left foot? That’s what I find works , am I correct?

    • @johnnauman4562
      @johnnauman4562 3 месяца назад +1

      Lift the left foot after p2, not setup, this will cause you to recenter before top of backswing.

    • @PerformanceGolfZone
      @PerformanceGolfZone  3 месяца назад

      Hey! Yes that generally correct..as mentioned from John I would just say the lead heel up would come a bit later in backswing

    Kudos to you for crediting AMG. Have you considered purchasing a GEARS system? Easy for me to suggest how you should spend your money, LOL.

    Great vid!
    I struggle with this a bit too.
    My question is what do you do with the trail (right for a righty)knee?
    I realized that I was trying to ‘push’ off my trail foot & bank it, which would kind of cause me to early extend a bit & stall rotation.

      Watch when he swings in slow motion around 1:30. His left knee goes towards the right and then sways back to the left at the start of the shift. Yesterday for the first time I consciously noticed that and I believe that feeling is going to be key for me. I could feel the knee going the opposite direction when my arms were nearing the top. It felt like a little dance move. Try it with no ball just swinging your arms back and forth like a warm up.
