This is a great chapter from the novel / story I've read three times. RED STORM RISING. Still hope HBO makes a series out of it some day soon. Just like "games of thrones"
Listening to this chapter in this great novel on Audible and thought for the heck of it I’d Google it. Shocked when it came up RUclips. Well done. Read the book 20 years ago. Just as thrilling now. Please make a series some streaming service. I beg of you!!!!
It was extremely secret at the time. Tom Clancy managed to figure out that it existed and what its role was by reading some public information on contracts and by sheer intuition. The man was truly a genius. By himself, smarter than the entire Soviet intelligence apparatus.
@@michaelimbesi2314 the first time we could put a nuke on a stealth plane was 1976...I think it was called the hopeless diamond and was Prototype of the f117
Michael Heather, the "music" was the ONLY reason the video was created on RUclips in the first place. If you don't want the music, one can always read the paper book or the unabrdidged audiobook, and insert your own sound effects, or none at all.
Greatest chapter from my favorite book of all time. Music could be a little lower though.
Yup , the music is stupid .

@palerider957 Kardinal of the Kremlin and Without Remorse, are the other two I'd like to see. Red Storm is my favorite Clancy.
Netflix, HBO, Amazone Prime, Hulu, Apple TV..... come on someone, this would so cool!
it could be done but need some really good actors to pull that off.
@@ericlevitt3769 someone with connections needs to propose it
I've read RSR probably 10 times in my life, one of my favorite books of all time. Might as well read it again while it's happening in real life.
The first F-117 flew june 1981..
The first operational Squadron was ready October 1983.

This is 1985 and the f117 was around for most of a decade already!

The music works super well here
Great vid, keep 'em coming.
I agree a great chapter from a great book but the music wrecked my head
@palerider957 Nice! Someone got it!

i have countless times just not good for me please dont take offence was not my intention
ps thanks for taking the time to do it @@TrainWreck3711
Just because i didnt enjoy the music does not mean i didnt get it
@@michaelheather8469 My statement was not directed at you. I was pleased that someone figured out the music was from "The Final Countdown". :)
F19A Spector a vastly different design to the F117 Night Hawk
Just rerading this book right now, were the frisbee's based on the real life F117?
Welll done ! Mad ethe music loud enough so as to be annoying, not even to finish listening I'll find it somewhere else....
What is the name of the pictured aircraft
It's an artist's conception of what most people thought was an F-19, before the 117 was declassified.
Music way to loud n prolly not needed.
The music was the only point of the video. If you "don't need" the music, just listen to the reg, and comment there that it's quiet.
spooky scary skeletons
The reader is too monotone yet strident at the same time.
It's the only unabridged audiobook we have available. I wish we had something better.
Oh, man…lose the music. Very distracting.
The music us the only purpose OF the video.
You want no music, then pick up your paperback.
The unabridged audiobook is also streaming.
The music is great, the Soundtract from the film The Final Countdown.
Watch it, and you will understand.
