It is true, try it yourself, I know that she is a very good player I also watch her and no I'm not bullying her or making fun of her and I don't care about poise being changed, since I always played dex without armor and without blocking.
Same here. Even on tanky heavy armor str builds I remove most of my armor just to fast roll and actually dodge all of the attacks (if I can). It always runs away from me and I cant catch up to it if I'm wearing heavy armor.

My favorite part of DS1 is how the fire keeper soul description says that if you use it, it will buff your estus. So the first time you play, you use them as soon as you get them and only later realize that you need to give them to certain NPCs to actually buff your estus so you've wasted your FKSs
That’s the exact build I went for, plus that ring that buffs your health/stamina/carrying capacity by a shit ton but you can never take it off. Game was pretty much a walk in the park after that 😂
Zweihander is the greatest Souls weapon ever! Yes, for me it beats even the stronger ultra swords. It’s my go to for battle mage on all souls game, followed by Darkmoon Blade. Freaking love that weapons… enemies just “splat” when you slam them with it 😆
NO FUN ALLOWED So says the community (and Miyazaki in DS3.) Now Souls is just associated purely with being difficult, not fun. So I doubt they'd let something cheesy fun slip through without patching it out quickly, nowadays. 😞

It’s just gotten worse over time, with FS feeding in and trying to make the games more extreme each time almost always leading in flaws and sometimes even complete fucking failure. Good point though.

Frrr, unfortunately ds isn't a game anymore, it's a difficulty measurement, I know that this build is quite broken, but it seems that if you don't play while being blind, SL1, no estus, no hit, you're not considered a player.

Hmm, surprised nobody mentioned the tail. It drops its tail if you cut it off, I remember whips kinda sucked in Dark Souls 1. But a unique weapon is always worth collecting, also have seen a few people rocking the scorpion tail whips for fun
Yup. Shit was so OP i decided to take it off for the dlc and ending of the game so i could enjoy it more. Ended up dying 20 times to both artorius and gwyn but it was worth it cus it was a fun fight.
Dark Souls being a hard game is the biggest myth in gaming, the truth is that people just choose to play it in the hardest way possible, but doing that, any game is hard, like beating ocarina of time with only 3 hearts/
Its fine, i mean they are literally weapons and armor that were put in the game. Its not like you genuinely broke the game, you used what It gave you and made a really good build.

Unless you're doing an insane challenge run or underleveled run. I'm not going to say poise wasn't strong in DS1, but magic was equally as easy. And strength builds (my favourite) aren't too far off. Dex builds aren't either, especially with bleed. Everything can be considered OP or easy mode when you know anything about the game.
My experience with this boss was crazy. The first time i fought it, I beat it so easy, then every playthrough after that, i frekin struggled. Made no sense.

Yup. I genuinely stumbled upon an OP build my very first playthrough without a guide. The Demon Greataxe dropped when i killed the taurus demon in undead burg(super lucky) and that weapon has the hightest dmg potential in the game. I also got havels armor and his ring just by exploring, and yeah the game was super easy to exploit. I decided to not use havels armor for the other half of the game so i could enjoy the bosses more

But in actuality ds is quite easy even for new players even on my first blind play through I don't remember dying to bosses more than like 5 times I used the winged spear as my main weapon the bosses are honestly some of the easiest parts of the game I did get my ass beaten by Artorios and Manus to the point where I had to start a new character bc of all my previous mistakes and I also looked up couple of guides

I died from Friede about 200+ times on my sl1 run and I still think that she's easy (screw her second and first phases, they are too boring and long)

Agreed. I hate playing like how she does, because it's not even funny to play. All you have to do is spam rb and that's it. With no armor it's funnier

Yeah, it's so lazy. No challenge and fun at all. I literally would fall asleep and got bored if i played using Havel build like that. But i wouldn't argue tho. Some people may found it fun for using that cheesy tricks. I'm just kinda pissed off with the title lol
If you have to make the game artificially hard by intentionally using weaker armor, then it’s easy.
