Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. It's nice seeing how much Miles has grown. In the first movie, he needed his father's guidance, and in the second, it seems he needs his mother's. This movie is going to be so worth the wait.
In the comics his mom ends up finding out for a while so they might totally go that route.

I love the transition from finding who you are to seeing if you can uphold your ideals in the real world and what it's like to deal with the pain and conflict of real life
It mirrors the first 2 spider man movies in a way: the first was about making the decision to be responsible, and the second was living with the consequences of that decision for the rest of your life.

It's honestly worth the price of admission alone
Into the Spider-Verse and Arcane where the two most stunningly beautiful and impressive animation feats we have seen in in the last decade. Spider-Verse came out as an insane outlier and completely moved the goalpost for what's considered great animation in movies. Then 3 years later Arcane shows up and does the same, but for a TV-Series.

Watching this back after seeing the movie, the way they've done the trailer is actual genuis. When she talks about Miles not being accepted, it shows Miguel and the other Spider-Men/Women, as well as other things
I know everyone is talking about the art style and how much Miles grew and it’s absolutely amazing but I gotta say the soundtrack is beautiful it really gives you the sense of what Miles is going through and how as a hero he should act ! Can’t wait for this masterpiece:)

I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw Peter B. Parker in the bath robe and the baby holder on his chest! Really makes the “Do I want kids?” line from the last movie come back in an amazing way.

After having seen the movie, it’s crazy how they were able to portray the motivations of each character within Rio’s speech and also show a corresponding scene for that character. Like how when she says “and you won’t let anyone tell you that you don’t belong” and they show Miguel. They did all that and STILL didn’t spoil the movie. Major props.
Might just be the most emotionally mature and emotionally relatable trailer I've ever seen. Just one mother's love for her son. Everyone with a good mother has had a conversation like this.
Feeling bummed out now that I never had a conversation like this. But it's really awesome to see that kind of message in this film. Like they say, not all heroes wear capes.

@Tensei I really hope not. That kinda of fan service only ever detracts from the movie at hand. If it isn’t relevant to the plot or something they can very very quickly shove in, it shouldn’t be there. I mean if the only reason is “oh look its those guys from those movies you like” then don’t bother.
That last scene with him being chased by all the other spidermen was epic. This movie is going to blow our minds👍

I’m still not over how incredibly good this movie is. Everything about this movie is perfection and art. That’s what you call excellent visually stunning filmmaking. It will 100% be one of the top best movies of the year and even of all time

I remember watching this movie and seeing Miles talk to Stan Lee, asking if he could return the costume if it doesn’t fit, but as Stan himself said “it always fits eventually”. That is what these heroes and especially spider-man are suppose to represent that anyone can be a hero regardless of who you are or we’re you came from. If you are standing up for what you know is right not just for yourself but for others, that is what makes someone a true hero. Thank you Stan Lee for the decades of stories and the characters that show who we can become and who we desire to be someday.

I can't wait to see this movie next year. When I saw the first Spider Verse it instantly became one of my favorite movies of all time. The animation, the visuals, the writing, dialogue, and musical score were all phenomenal. If the first one was good then the sequel could be just as good. 💖💖💖

A sequel to an amazing animated film. Still to this day the music, colors and imagination the first one had is top tier. The influence it has on other series is awesome and I can only hope miles gets more love in this movie.

At the end of the first film I wondered if Peter B. would end up having kids with MJ as the film implied, and seeing him with a baby carrier just made my little continuity-loving heart sing. I'm so excited for this movie! I'm glad nothing major was spoiled in this trailer

Watching the first spider verse movie in the cinemas when I was 13 is the movie that made me realise that I wanted to be an animator- I’m 17 now and WELL on my way to becoming one :) this movie was such an inspiration for me and it still is 4 years later

It’s so cool seeing so many different kinds of spidermen, especially when they actually make them relatable and realistic to what teens would do. What a great time to be alive to be able to see it come to life on the big screen.

I loved into the spider- verse. Not only it's ny favorite spider- man movie ,and one of my favorite animated features films, but it's literally one of my favorite movies of all times. It's a love letter to Spiderman, and pushed the boundaries of what animation as a medium is truly capable of.

Many people were surprised by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse when it came out. They didn't expect it to be as successful as it was, and it gave us a new perspective on the world of superheroes. It also brought back our sense of wonder about the possibilities of animation. It introduced us to the new hero, Miles Morales, and showed us how he is just as compelling as Peter Parker. I am so excited to see more epic things coming to the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

I’m a huge fan of animation and its techniques / processes, so much that I actually started tearing up a little watching this trailer as silly as it is. It’s just really nice to see something that obviously has a lot of passion, creativity, and love put towards it to pay tribute to not just animation as a creative medium, but also to Spider-Man .

The 2d animation scenes were amazing. I’m sure they will use some clever ways to save on time and money so that it’s not entirely hand drawn/2d, but regardless it looks amazing.

This movie was the most visually stunning cinema of the last 5 years. Maybe even longer. The fact that is had loveable characters, well written dialogue, and a superhero story that didn't feel like a rehash of the same tired tropes? That was all just gravy.
If this sequel manages to bring it visually again, and still work in even a fraction of the same charm, it'll be a huge success.

I was not expecting to get emotional when I first saw the title of this trailer, but speaking as a father to a young son, Miles's mother captured the entire essence and struggle of a parent's journey in one piece of dialogue. Amazing.

I can't wait to see this movie next year. When I saw the first Spider Verse it instantly became one of my favorite movies of all time. The animation , the visuals, the writing , dialogue, and musical score were all phenomenal. If the first one was good then the sequel could be just as good.

Shrek 2 , Toy Story 2 , Toy Story 3 , The Empire Strikes Back, Home Alone 2, Paddington 2, Thor Ragnarok , Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Logan , The Godfather 2 , Captain America : the Winter Soldier , Spiderman 2 , The Dark Knight , and Lord of the Rings the Two Towers.
I watched Into the Spiderverse with my dad just before my last year of high-school after a long series of personal struggles. This one comes just before I finish my Bachelor's degree and just before I move on to my last 3 to get my masters, all the while I've had a lot of personal struggles. They keep dropping when I've needed em, when I least expected. So excited for this one!

Ikr! I heard the ending was (maybe minor spoilers, but trying to keep it vague) a huge cliffhanger, but as soon as *a certain event* happens, I thought it was the midway point. I looked at the time and realized my audience only had 10 minutes left of the movie lol. I was like “they aren’t gonna end it here…right?”
They did, but only after one more twist. It was great. Such an amazing film.

Into the Spiderverse inspired the animation industry to experiment more instead of chasing tehnically advanced graphical fidelity like Pixar and Disney, on top of being the best Spidey animated film ever. I'm so excited to see what Across the Spiderverse brings to not just fans of Spider-Man, but also fans of animation ❤️ Thank you to everyone working to make these films great!

and OMG THIS SO LOOKS FUCKING GORGEOUS!!! I love the different art styles including Gwen's painterly watercolor look and Miguel's unfinished blueprint look. The new character designs amazing, Spider-Punk and Jessica Drew being my favorites. She looks like she came straight out of some graphic 70s art like the posters from Super Fly. When you look at every Spider-Person it makes so much sense why there's 1000 aninators on this and I'm glad this was delayed to give them the time they need. And Miles universe is looking as amazing as always.

This is a Miles Morales movie (along with the focus on Gwen, Peter B, Miguel, Jessica, and some other forefront characters that'll get some attention like Spider Punk and Indian Spidey (but not in a show stealing kind of way, just in a Spider Noir/Peter Porker/Peni kind of way where they just help push the plot along))

1:54 The first movie version of this theme sounds cool and perfectly structured, tightly woven with the hip hop element, where miles is in his home dimension; whereas here everything is turned up to 11. They have deliberately made us immediately associate it with the first theme and then walk us step by step, SHOWING how things are different now. It feels like that perfect structure is unravelling all over the place with too many additional layers added and its all overwhelming in so many different ways, which is exactly what is happening in the movie. Good to see B.Parker is on the movie; his dynamic with miles in the first movie was one of the best parts of it
Yeah I'm looking forward to see how much he has repaired his relationship with his MJ and his own life in general. The first movie was about him nearly as much as it was about Miles, about overcoming depression and to find the courage to pick yourself up. It's about time we saw the payoff to it all
And it looks like he decided to be a Father too 👀
I’ve been quite disappointed with everything marvel has produced recently, however, this movie was so good. The animation is amazing and the characters and their development is great.
This is the perfect movie trailer. It doesn't spoil anything that big and most of all it makes you question the plot which then makes you infinitely hyped up for this film. Can't wait.

I think I've watched the first one 100 times. It's by far my favorite movie of all time. From the animation to the story line to the message. I can't wait for the next. ❤

I understand how hard you might've been working but many of them are underappreciated. Every person - right from the director, film maker to the people who work as servers, Janitors, sweepers and other background workers deserve appreciation.
When someone say the movie is good, it means the collective effort of all the classes of workers is good.

I like how this style of animation gives ways to Spider-Man's of varying shapes and builds. I'm used to seeing them all with standard physiques, it's kind of refreshing to see them with more bulky appearances as well.

I said this about the first one, that you can freeze frame any part of the movie and it looks like a comic illustration. They cared about the silhouettes of each frame. The low frame rate obviously helps with that too. But dang it's beautiful.
