I wish Casio used their SS cases in more models, so instead of having only the Frogman and the GW/DW5000 with a Screwback SS case, why not introduce it to other models in the range, even if it meant paying a premium, I believe a lot of people would agree on a higher price.

I wanted to get a GWG-1000 but the price was a little over budget, so I had to settle for the GG-1000. In the future I will upgrade though! :)

Thank you Casio... for creating the Rangeman !!! This is what i ended up getting yesterday after reading a load ton of info ! Probably the best value you can get for a "Master of G" series watch !!! It feels like a hybrid between this brand new Frogman and the rest of them in terms of features !

Got the Mudmaster, both the GG and GWG. Sort of wish I was a diver so I could get a Frogman. They look so cool. But alas, I'll never be a pilot or a diver.

Any one know if they are all built equily? Because I'm in and out of salt water all day at the beach, will the frogman out last the others or will mudmaster last same? Because I pretty much like them all but gravity and mudmaster seem allot more stylish
Well... honestly All of those watches will be fine but remember to clean them after getting out of the beach because they will leave some dark marks!!

Buenos dias,hoy dia 21 de agosto me acerco a la joyeria de EROSKI BILBONDO(Basauri-Vizcaya) a comprar un reloj GPR-B1000-1ER,siendo SERVICIO OFICIAL,la dependienta habla con el representante de CASIO en VIZCAYA y le dice que ese reloj no me lo puede vender sin mas,yo le pregunto a la dependienta y me dice que es lo que le ha dicho el representante,pues muchas gracias,mi nombre es IÑIGO VILA.
I've sent messages to Casio about my question to no avail. Is there a G-Shock that can withstand a wet sauna (steam)?
purple8gold hey dude if they are 200m waterproof why shouldn't they withstand a sauna I even saw guys boiling their g shocks they survived (wouldn't do that obviously )
They can withstand anything.
the heat causes the resin of the watch to dry up and crack and break in a while, as a child I always bathed with my casio and always had the problem of breaking the watch's band, once a watchmaker advised me not to bathe with the watch and since then I have a g shock that is more than 20 years old and the mesh is intact

Unfortunly the g shock lugs are not resistant to any pulling force
It breaks easily as what happened commonly in the rangeman
That's why newer Master of G have thicker lugs and hence better than the Rangeman I believe.
Amr Ashraf the problem is that by using rods instead of the regular spring bar, in their pursuit of toughness they moved the weakest link from a $2 springbar to a $200 case.
they should go back to using springbars that way when you push the watch beyond its limit, the cheap springbar will be the first to go, rather than an expensive case.
This is not true...they withstand exactly what is necessary. G-shocks were designed to be tool watches, resist all the shocks and vibrations and never stop. But not to harm your hand if firmly caught against something. G-shocks were originally designed for construction workers to display the time and "disconnect" if caught in some machine. If Casio wanted the strap to be unbreakable, they would do so...as said by Kikuo Ibe himself.
Well my Gravitymaster has a Carbon Fiber band and is secured by a Carbon Fiber inset so it’s one of the Strongest Watch out there. The Band is almost unbreakable.
