    I really enjoy watching a gardener from Indiana. I enjoy many gardeners and channels but it’s great to see what works for someone in the same zone. Thank you for sharing!

    Everything looks great. It makes me smile to see your husband doing things to make you and your garden happy. My husband will do zero and refused to eat anything from the garden. But I love my garden. This is or season and it is always a thrill.

    You have encouraged me to start a small kitchen garden. I had a small tree get damaged in an ice storm. Perfect timing to start the garden. I usually only plant flowers but excited to grow my own veggies. Thanks for sharing 🌼🐝

    Hi! Can you explain if you have 'pine straw' or what covering your strawberries in your Greenstalks? If I missed you explaining, I apologize! Just got my greenstalk and I am planting strawberries for the first time. Thank you for your videos. You have a calming energy that makes it a can-do attitude!!!

    We were just talking about spring growing on Urban Gardener with guest Gardener Scott and I really never thought about direct seeding brassicas. For the first time I’m trying a low tunnel and started seedlings and all I really could have done was direct sow. I think under plastic it would get plenty warm to germinate.
    The Big issue is the a great Temp swings. Today we are 86*F 🥵and by the weekend freezing 🥶.
    Oh! You showed foxgloves! I don’t know what I have growing. They are either Canterbury Bells or Foxgloves or Both as I found a tag for each.🙄. The leaves look alike to me. It will be exciting either way. Remember foxgloves are poisonous so watch the pup.
    So excited about things I found growing under mulch that I either wrote off or forgot or Never did I think they would winter over. I found bee balm, red mum, baby’s breath, Veronica, Salvia, snapdragons and I’m Z5a and our zone stayed the same and I had carnations and artichokes come back!! 😄. And here I ripped up some artichokes last fall.😏. We had a super warm winter which I could learn to like, but I’m concerned for the fruit and this crazy cold returning as the plants advance too much in this heat we have. If this keeps up I will have a lot less I need to start inside. I can’t imagine carnations as perennials here or artichokes.
    We are getting some rain, but not near enough. I see and hear others getting tons of rain and WI still is in drought.
    Your yard looks great and hope you continue to miss the wicked storms. We are expecting some Tuesday.

      Yeah, my pup leaves my plants alone thankfully! We have been getting lots of rain but nothing like bad storms.

    You inspired me in your last video, to purchase another Green Stalk! I’d ordered the same Strawberries you planted, bare root, and planted them in 3 inch pots, and realized I didn’t know where I was going to plant them to flourish! I’d already filled my original Green Stalk with different types of lettuce, so now I will have another one to plant my Strawberries in. Thanks for sharing your journey, and know you are encouraging others!

    Hi, Roxana! What a transformation of the driveway! Great work. I SO want a pink Greenstalk! I want it for my strawberry plants, but I have to admit that they are huge and happy and prolific in the ground. I hate it when the earwigs and ants get to them first! I just came in from transplanting corn and pole beans into the garden. Hopefully the weather has settled down now. We had torrential rains and strong winds and more rain and more winds. It’s been crazy! Have a great week!💖

    Can you tell me the best minth to plant the garlic? I sowed some last fall and it seems to have drowned.

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  5 месяцев назад

      You mean the depth? I pretty much buried them about twice their size, just like tulip bulbs. I never watered them, the little snow that we got and some of the rain lately have been the only water they got.
