This is a boring ass drive around Camden. I figured I’d stop through there and get to know in a little on the way home from the pool party. If anyone is familiar with Camden and they’re watching us let me know if I’m in the right areas.

Camden was my stomping grounds back in 2002-2004. It definitely has cleaned up a bit but it gives me chills seeing certain spots. I wonder if "Grannys" house is still there? I praise God that i got clean before tranq happened. Clean since 5/6/2014 ❤
I here War stories about how bad Camden was back then. You def got lucky getting clean when you did cuz these new drugs are horrible

Me too! I got clean right before this new stuff came out. It's so different these days. I was out in canden around the time you were,also before that avd a bit after. In 2016 I got clean.
Yeah 2004 I joined the Army thinking it would fix me. I hadn't yet learned that I was the problem and everywhere I went, there I was. I'm so glad you made it out and are clean A.J! I pray for everyone still struggling. The prayer I pray the most is that they will know recovery IS possible; that they are deserving and worthy of recovering. There's light through that darkness!
Funniest thing about Camden; no matter how bad they say it is just look up housing prices for even the slums of that area. Even in the worst part of the hood they still want over 150,000 dollars for a totally destroyed home. I don't understand how homes can still be that expensive in such a bad area.

You are so right. Some of the people I have interviewed have talked about that. You get addicted to the lifestyle and the physical withdrawal keeps you there

Very interesting tour. Like you say, it’s looks like a peaceful town if you compare it to what you show us in Kensington, but also like you said, you definitely see fentanyl and tranq are there. And the suffering for those people is of course equal.

As bad as Camden was a few years back, they’re doing a good job making it a bit safer. One thing you don’t see there are people folded over all over the place like Kensington from drug abuse.
It does seem like they are doing a good job cleaning up that city

There’s plenty of police in Camden. They disbanded the entire police dept in 2020 and rebuilt it. That’s what he’s referring to. The cop that I stopped to talk to was super helpful. He told me where I should go to look for people to interview and everything
I was there last week and there was a drugged out homeless guy passed out yelling

Easterhouse is worse than that yes i agree .and the gorbals down at the old salt market.glasgow streets have a lot of tough areas .and also blackhill is bad and east end of glasgow .im in coatbridge kelly .just outside glasgow .was a really rough area years ago .but its so diffrent now .hope your good honey ❤❤ the only thing thats diffrent is our streets are clean and addicts if shooting up in street would get lifted or moved with cops .💗💗

The reason why nobody is around is because they are all over the river in Kensington where they won’t be harassed and arrested!
Crack and drugs are everywhere not just camden, so don't make this the only place to put Down
There's only certain area's at certain times!! And depending on popo action some times they stop the flow for a bit ! The ppl( Feens) ,/addicts start bugging tho cuz they don't have Nothin! I know cuz I'm clean for past 7 yrs god bless staying strong. But some ppl this disease is killing them faster an faster, for 30mins cuz the popo they switch it up at! It dont look bad cuz looks are deceiving!! They switch it up and ohhh you got it wrong it is crazy as hell there at night. I had to run cuz the ppl popping off there gun,then running there ppl with freaking gun's off!! But they switch from one side ,to the other .
Either out of house's or abandos and some corner stores do it too seriously ! They got one by Liberty Ave by 3rd or4th street it was when I was up there...I was cool with the owner lucky since I was going back and forth from the clinic. It was nuts so I know alot of the ppl and places are!!
