- I sat down with Amira to talk to her for a little on sunday morning. She said she was interviewed last year and wanted to do an update since she was in a better spot now. She started to fall asleep at the very end from being in the warm car. This interview wasn't planned but i figured why not after speaking to her briefly

No doubt life is not easy.
I’m crying as I’m watching this because I mourn for this young woman. Her beautiful, warm smile and sweet personality all gone because this drug is so insidious that it will destroy you. RIH dear Amira. The angels in heaven are dancing with joy to have you amongst them. Be in peace sweet girl. You are free now.

Amira has always been my favourite and watch everyday those channels showing the girls down there trying to catch a glimpse of her. Hadn't seen her for a few months so am glad to see shes ok - hearing the 'not so nice' things some girls have gone thru. Stay safe Amira.

I can relate to Amira sooo much! I’m also Arabic and Muslim and was a drug addict .. a very bad drug addiction! I been clean since 1//21/21 🎉❤😅 I love your videos they remind me of how bad I used to be and keep me on the straight path 😊

Watching this video grief stricken at such a loss. I had hopes of Amira getting out of Kensington free of these horrifying drugs. Should’ve been Home with her family. Youre the most empathetic of the intervieers. A suggestion losten carefully as youll ask them a question which they have already. Answered por talked about. Youve been in their places so can relate. They often seem to lnow more than the professionals who arent keeping up with the whats going on or how to treat things like tranq withdrawal. Thanks for your time doing this. Good job. I don't remember who did a comprehensive story on her a couple of years ago that included pictures of her life before her addiction, she was beautiful and had what looked like a promising life ahead of her, hopefully, she will eventually find her way out and back to her former life. Xylazine can cause skin ulcerations whether you shoot, snort, or smoke it. No one knows the long-term effects of Xylazine abuse on humans, however, hyperglycemia is one, along with skin necrosis, and numerous other health problems due to its toxicity.

Amira I missed you I haven’t heard or seen anything of you since your last interview. I was actually going to make a trip down there with clothing money all kinds of stuff just for you but I just never saw you so I thought maybe you were getting help which is what I wish you do. Well any rate I’m so glad to see your face unfortunately it’s not where I want to see it . but I pray for you and look for you on videos all the time and I just wish you get off the streets stay strong and there are people out here that seriously care about you!!

H Jeff Steve from England Watching your post on the TV. Just got back from the city. Watching Amir sounds a nice young lady. She knows what going down. Like a cat chasing it's tail round and round. I watched a documentary about Kensington where a girl shot a man called tone he died on the way to hospital. His family was talking about him.

I saw Amira’s first interview with Mal on AML Films and she was new to this life….. that was about 6 months ago and I can see the decline already. Nodding out while talking and spots all over her skin. I so wished she would get out of this lifestyle. She definitely needs help and prayers 🙏🏾

Amira means " princess " in Arabic, What a loss to her family !! Her father Ahmed Alhossieni was happy a year ago that he found her and he dropped a comment on AML interview with her !! It seems that she dropped back into the addiction!!..Very intelligent girl , i hope she manages to come out .

The sound of amira in this interview is a little bit changed than the sound which I used to hear in another interview. I don't know America or Philadelphia or Kensington Avenue! But thanks to amira and thanks to the drug! Whom let me know what is exactly there. I see interviews with amira! rarely! And recently, when I heard of the snow storm of America! I remembered the people of kensington Avenue and amira. Anyway, amira is just one click or step away! To escape life in Kensington!? If she has the will to do so!?

If you’re on the right sort of dose of methadone or suboxone, you’re not going to be getting high. idk, I used to be hesitant to use MAT because I had internalized the stigma. I didn’t feel like I would really be clean if I was using MAT. But I think that attitude is really harmful. I suppose not everyone can use MAT as directed and be successful on it, but it helps me (and a lot of other folks) to function like a normal human being. I think it saved my life and I wish I had tried it earlier. I work full time, own a home, have healthy relationships. I never catch a nod or anything and, most importantly, I am not plagued by cravings. Without MAT, I felt like I was clean by the skin of my teeth until I would ultimately relapse. With MAT and DBT therapy, I’ve been able to learn distress tolerance. I’ve gone through some super difficult, traumatic things that would have sent me back out in the past but I’ve stayed the path and I am so grateful every single day.
When I switched from fentanyl to methadone, it SUCKED. I didn’t really experience any relief until I got up to a reasonably high dose and even then I didn’t sleep for a month and def didn’t feel good at all. Once I leveled off, I noticed I was getting sleepy in the afternoons a few hours after dosing, so I gradually cut my dose to where I just felt normal with no sleepiness. Idk, MAT saves lives and most definitely is NOT the same thing as using street fentalogues and whatever else is in the street supply these days.
I’m really glad MAT worked for you. I use my medical marijuana card that’s considered MAT as well. I fully support MAT treatment for these people to get off the streets with. Especially how deadly relapses are with fentanyl.

There's a lot of misinformation in the interviews. I think the interviewees think they're sharing correct information but it's a lot of misinformation and rumors that get shared as fact.
I agree with you I just don’t want to argue with them about what they’re saying during the interview. I don’t know what the right way is to deal with that, but I’ve noticed it to.

Kinda hard to believe people when they say they come from good families especially since the richest kids I knew were addicts, having money doesn't mean your parent's gave you what you needed inorder to ve well balanced.. And yea some times it's their own fault but the ones who get sucked in do to a life of partying tend to get out, the ones that don't had bad families but don't wanna admit it cause they got money.
I think me and her being that you because we do come from a nice life in the suburbs. Money doesn’t make our families better in anyway. It just opened our lives up to so more opportunities and a easy way out of stuff. She is just owning up the fact that she chooses to be there

Great video--appreciate your efforts to get these people into a warm car--seen you buying Amber food. I agree completely benzos are awful- and I found them & methadone the worst detox ever. Even the nurse at the methadone told me it was easier to quit heroin.
I agree that methadone is the worst detox I’ve ever done. But if it’ll keep the person from dying from a fentanyl overdose I think its worth it

I have to disagree, you definitely don't get high when you get on a methadone program and take it as directed and are on a proper dose. At least in my experience you don't. It's not at all the same . I hearing a lot of rationalization in this interview which I know is par for the course. I do agree that Benzos are very dangerous and the withdrawal is absolutely brutal. Extremely dangerous as well. The krokodil thing is a rumor the Xylazine causes the necrosis you're seeing. It's a vasoconstrictor if you Google it you'll see why.
I think a lot of people just get their dose way too high. I had mine too too 190 mgs at one point, which is way too high in my opinion

@@Jeffshighonlife I have seen a lot of 2nd generation immigrants who feel lost. They struggle culturally between their parents’ valued and expectations and their desires to fit in with their peers…hope she can get get clean someday and live a good life 🙏
I agree with you. It seems like a lof of the second generation immigrants want to live their own lives but the parents expectations can be pretty crazy. I think this is evem more relevant when the family is religious
