I’ve seen these on offer for £65. I’ve read a review that says you need to use a course ground coffee rather than any “standard” cafetière coffee. What’s your experience please?
Hi, I have not had any issues with the grind of the coffee. I used normal ground coffee and its fine and I have also ground my own, perhaps a bit too fine, and it works fine. The mesh filter is good enough for coffee a little too fine as well as bags of preground stuff. So... not had any issues with any at all :-). Hope that helps.
Great review, like yourself I tend to go for KitchenAid and when searching for a french press I saw this and love the design although I was just wondering if you can change a battery and if so is this something you found yourself doing on a regular basis?
4DR14NCR41G hi! So far not changed the battery and used it pretty much everyday! It’s only on for about 4 mins so I think the battery will last a long time!
Received today purchased directly from KitchenAid unfortunately the scales do not advance from - - - g to 0g after reading countless reviews looks like mine is the first to have this issue, although when I phoned it turns out mine had been sat on their shelves since 2016 and had to email proof of recent purchase. Was looking forward to using but having to wait on a return order for repair, said it’ll be around three weeks from today until returned.
@@4DR14NCR41G What a pain!! I brought mine from a department store and so far have never had an issue. Three weeks is rubbish! Shame you can't cancel and go and buy from a store. Hope its quicker than they say!
I am drinking coffee from a french press for years. Since yesterday I am using this Kitchen Aid French Press. Does the coffee taste even better then from another regularly pot or is this just imaginary?

Received a replacement today, a very happy bunny and sure to be jumping around like one as I make more and more pots experimenting with measurements.

I think its when you find a coffee you like and can make it consistently each time - makes it worth it! :-)
