Who else is here on a search to study about head covering because God is speaking to their heart? I saw your recent video and it was so awesome praise God because He literally chose your video for me this morning after my prayer time when he brought back to me the subject of modesty but in particular head covering! I have so many questions but I’m so eager to start this journey but yet a little on edge because idk what I’m doing! He gave me a vision of myself walking into church with my head covered months ago so I know that he is calling me to do it because he keeps bringing it up to my attention! God is so good! Everything he has guided me to for the last year or so has brought nothing but blessings to my life! Thank you so sharing this video with us! I’m excited to watch it knowing it will bless me and answer some of my questions that o have if not all and more! God bless you my beautiful sister!
Yes. My story begins when O had first met a Muslim boy in college and that opened up my eyes to head covering. At that point I fell in love with the idea of head covering and thought to myself Christian women aren’t doing this and felt that I aligned wth Muslim women because of their modesty because it was so beautiful. When I started dressing more modestly my mom or oldest sister would tease me why o was dressing conservatively. Anyways 10 years later I’m afraid of head covering because of what people will say of me or think I’m trying to be a Muslim *AGAin*even though I was super into Islam back then but not anymore Hallelujah! Christ is my savior. so there a voice in my head saying don’t do it because ppl will look down on me for trying to be a Muslim. but what I didn’t know this whole time since I was in my early 20s is that modesty belongs to the Lord it’s his and I shouldn’t be afraid of my conviction to head cover it’s just hard. But it’s funny cause I think in the end modesty offends people so it’s not me it’s them
@everybreathisachance2004 AMEN!!!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽 Modesty BELONGS to the LORD!!!! HALLELUJAH "it's not me, it's them!" Say it again!! All that matters is that we do what the LORD GOD tells us to do... It's for good reason!! Bless the Lord Jesus Christ 🎈☺️
@@everybreathisachance2004 being set apart from the world is an accountability tool among other things like being a light to the world. Many feel conviction when they see another lady covering or dressing modestly, it heaps coals on their head in a way. Men treat ladies dressed modestly with so much more respect. One young lady told me she gained so much self respect and self worth when she embraced long dresses and skirts as a lifestyle, and her friends started wearing more dresses and skirts.
@@Itsmeneyma gaining conviction is key because the hardness of heart in this Jezebel culture. As strongly as I believe in headcovering and modesty, I believe it has to be put in the heart of the lady by the Holy Spirit as that’s the only way for it to last.
God bless you! God convicted me to wear a headcovering in 2016. Isn't it amazing how He's speaking to all these women individually? His Spirit is moving and I praise His name!
@@SySyPlayDay awesome. I see headcovering as a crown for daughters of the king of the universe, a physical symbol of the spiritual protection of Christ as their husband, hence why a woman suspected of adultery removed her headcovering for the adultery test in Numbers 5:18.
“Jesus Christ died on the cross for us, why do we STILL want to do the bare minimum..it’s a gift” In Jesus name I want to be obedient immediately, I too want to be kept ❤️ What a giving loving Father, thank you for your obedience and teaching it to other women like myself. It’s a struggle sometimes but I KNOW it’s for my good and God. ❤
I started wearing a head covering since last year. I have been condemned for it as well as my modest dressing. I’m so glad I found your video I come look for videos like yrs to keep me strong in my faith. I want to continue to be set apart from this world. I loved to see that you cover your head with hats, scarves, ect because I do the same thing! ❤❤❤love this
Shine on sister. Think of headcovering as a crown for a lady of the king of the universe, physical symbol of spiritual protection, hence why it was removed during the adultery test in Numbers 5:18, also psalm 140:7.
I totally appreciate your testimony, I too struggled with wearing a covering not out of rebellion, because of lack of knowledge, and I've never been a hat person. It was also in 2020 when I received the revelation of women covering their head, and this is after I'd been walking with The Lord then 24 years. This is not being taught in many of these so called "Churches" neither is holiness, which is a sad state of affairs. Anyway, during the pandemic I had an eruption of my God consciousness, praise The Lord! And He has revealed Himself to me in such a profound way, everything has an appointed time, I'm so grateful. I wasn't even baptized right, in the name of The Lord Jesus, I repented, and ran to get my sins washed away! We are truly destroyed for lack of knowledge, but God's grace is sufficient and for that I'm eternally grateful! May The Lord continue to enrich us with more of His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Peace be unto you 🙏🏽
Hallelujah!! Glory to God!!! I thank him for the process, the revelation, the understanding, the peace with the understanding even if no one else obeys it, i pray that i will, you will and whoever receives his revelations ... I pray we are obedient with pleasure and delight! I yad to get baptized again too! Appointed time is 👍🏽 right! Glory!!! ❤️🥰🎊👏🏽
Thank you for this sister… I feel I have been called to cover my head. I had felt I was being called to for a while but I never fully obeyed… recently I feel that I needed to be obedient now.. I’ve been looking at videos like yours to help me understand it more.. so I really am grateful I was led to your video.
This is absolutely beautiful. You made a good point about it being a foreign concept in the west. I taught in Tanzania for a while and many of the other teachers there, both Christian and Muslim wore a headcovering. It was part of being put together and leaving for the day. It's so sad that women of virtue and character are considered stiff neck for doing what is right. Lastly, there are many videos/sermons from male pastors about headcovering, but I feel this is better suited for one sister to share with others or in a women's ministry type setting. Thank you sister ❤.
Beautiful that you've experienced head covering from Christian women in a place of work also . Amen!! Bless the Lord. I'm definitely glad I heard the teaching and God gave the revelation! Christian women who wear a head covering a I haven't heard that they're stiff necked.. WOW 😲 I do see lots of people try and discourage it which is sad. But I pray more western women and women in general wear one because it's from God! 🙏🏽❤️
I see headcovering as a crown for daughters of the king of the universe, a physical symbol of the spiritual protection. I see headcovering in Numbers 5:18, Isaiah 47:2, and psalm 140:7. One lady said she became invisible to certain men with the headcovering when she experimented in a store with and without the covering.
@@lavernefearron7597 Numbers 5:18 really brings to light how the headcovering is a symbol of a lady being under her husband’s protection, hence why her covering was removed during the adultery test. The covering is a symbol of the marriage covenant, probably why married Jewish women cover their head. As a messianic believer in Yeshua I see ladies headcovering and/or wearing long dresses and skirts like color against a black and white background, other women fade away into the background for me.
This has helped me so much! 😭 I've been led to start covering my head. I'm going against my family and everyone I know but it's what I feel is right to do. When the Lord says go I will go. You made me feel so much better, thank you for letting the Lord Himself use you to help your sisters out here. I'm sending you hugs and thanks! ⚘️
Sending HUGS 🤗 right back to you!! 🙏🏽🥰 Bless that wonderful name of Jesus Christ!!Keep praying for all of us wearing the covering!! It's been HOT!! 🥵😅😂😅😂
Hallelujah!! I loved everything you said! I only wear a head covering in the congregation or if I’m praying, reading the Word, prophesying… but you are so right! We have to be ready for when the Lord wants to use us, so “ at all times” makes sense… 🙏🏽🌷
When I sat down to comment, I almost said, "I don't know how I stumbled upon your video..." but yes I do. Years ago, maybe 5 or more actually, a good friend and I were talking about headcovering and her Orthodox church began to teach this and it was very intriguing to me. I studied it for a few days and it became a 'back burner' thing for me just because life got in the way. Today, we were home for church due to sick kiddos and your video was underneath today's livestream. I hadn't researched or thought of headcovering in YEARS. I am a recent prodigal daughter who's found her way home and I reallllly needed this video today. I KNOW God dropped your video for me to see for a reason. I also was one who thought my hair was my covering, even after reading 1 Corinthians 11 I STILL thought it was hair until today. Thank you thank you thank you. Your video brought me to tears. I'm ordering my first veil today. I'm already a hat wearing girl but I love the femininity of the veil and what it represents as Christ's bride. I would love to see more Christ-centered content from you. Your teaching really spoke to my heart. ❤
You are bringing tears to my eyes! Bless your heart! So glad you commented. I don't think people understand how their comment can encourage the content creator! This walk with God and the changes we make because of what he reveals to us, is such a journey! A beautiful journey when we're obedient! Our testimonies do so much for one another. Thank you! Thank you. Keep studying God's word! P. S. I love the femininity of the veil too. God has been showing me more and more about the veil. Hallelujah I wear the veil allot more than anything else. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🎉
I have now adopted you as my RUclips auntie lol. I came across your video while searching if it is necessary for Christian women to wear head coverings. I’m so glad that I found this video. Unfortunately, it’s a foreign topic in church. You confirmed so much that I’ve been asking God about. I’ve been off and on but this video definitely cleared my questions. I appreciate you and thank God for your obedience. You are an inspiration to many 🙏🏽🤍
This ministered to my heart. I'm starting my modesty journey and I'm trying to understand if I need a headcovering. It's hard because my husband is struggling with his walk with God. My man is hurting yall. And I'm afraid this will stumble him. Our only reference for headcovering is hijab. I think it weirds my man out. I'm studying this and keeping my heart open to God.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 1 Corinthians 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. Your witness is being a doer of the word of God, not a hearer only. Not telling your husband what to do, sharing yes but how you live in the Lord will help your husband. Praying with you !! 🥰
Start with your personal pray time with the Father just wear a simple head-covering like a pretty scarf and speak to God about your troubles and fear of stumbling him. Wearing a head-covering at first can and may be good for you to do in private until you feel God moving you to wear a head covering more in public or even at church. Faith gave a good example of a head covering scarf for church that you can put on and take off during pray and worship time. God Bless you and your husband.
I come from Lancaster Pennsylvania where there's thousands of women wearing head coverings. Mennonites, Amish and just non denominational Christian ladies who take the Bible literally. Check out a RUclips channel called Followers of the Way in Boston. They have recently posted a video of a women's council on modesty along with some short videos. They are a wonderful group of people
It's beautiful to be around those who take the bible literally. To be around like minded people. I recently saw Followers of The way ladies on a form. I also noticed there is a brother who taught at Biola (in California) who teaches on that channel and his testimony of his wife wearing a head covering is awesome... Something i listened to when i first began covering. Great stuff. 🙏🏽
Start with a beautiful scarf around your neck slip it up now and again for yourself but don’t hurt your fellow be gentle with it…..and keep it thin and pretty🥰
I started wearing a headcovering about a year ago. When it got warm I stopped wearing it. Mainly because of the looks I was getting. I decided when cold weather came back I was going to start wearing it again. This way there would be none strange looks from others. I also wanted to be in a better level with God. A better grace before I started wearing it. Then I realized I had it backwards. Wearing a head covering all the time (except it work they don't allow it but that's not a big deal I can handle that) and making my changes like that 1st, has made all the difference. I needed to be proactive. Not "waiting for the *right* moment." Thank you for posting this video. I hope a lot of women watch your video and are inspired to start turning back to God and doing as he wants because hes in charge we're not. God Bless You Wonderful Lady.
Awwwww beautiful! I love that God gave it to you. It's for him, and what he called it for. I pray you keep wearing it. Even when I get weary because not many wear it, i keep wearing it. Stay in God's word, he'll keep you! 🥰🙏🏽🙏🏽
So beautifully said! Thank you for going through Yahweh’s Word, and not just stating opinions 🙏🏾 Headcovering is such a beautiful act of submission to the Lord’s Will!
I only came upon Pastor Jennings preaching videos, just about 3 weeks ago. I was raised in a Holiness church and taught about the having long...meaning "uncut" hair...now God is leading me into covering the glory of my hair. I pray without ceasing, therefore i plan to be covered most of the time, not only church services. I want to obey the TRUTH. Amen. Nice to meet you Sister!!!!
Thank You for sharing, further searching the word for myself. One, I ceased cutting my hair, i asked the Lord to forgive me for cutting my hair and ask him can he regrow my hair, and 2 we are to cover our head, especially when we are in prayer. As a servant of God I will be the one bringing the hair covering back into the church. Blessings to you P.s. I Love Pastor G. Jennings awesome leader
I also just this past year 2022 read 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 I have read the Bible thru many times but God hilighted these passages to me and I was atomicly convinced to cover my head and I chose to cover my head with a vail from the moment I get ready until I go to bed no I'm not catholic I'm Baptist and the only one that hit me hard was some one closest to me and God gave me the opportunity to share those verses with her and I was very calm there is only one other woman in my church who has a head covering no one has said anything about it to me. I am hopeful prepared to explain it properly with God's Word's
Thank you for making this video 💕. I started wearing a head covering about 2 weeks ago and I have felt so many blessings be poured on me and my marriage since then. I had felt disconnected from God in my prayer life over the last few years and I feel so connected again. I missed that feeling. The first day, I felt like God was moving me to put one on. I did it. I did not even know about the verses in 1 Corinthians. He spoke to me and I said Yes lord! I had a better day, my heart was so full of love and I was back to my normal self. I thought hmmm is this biblical though, then I found the verses. I went to the store up the road and got some inexpensive infinity scarves to use as caps for when I veil. Bless you and thank you again for sharing your journey with all of us , it is an encouragement and blessing 💕
I cover during worship with the saints because I understand “praying or prophesying” as a synecdoche for worship. Verse 13 makes that a little more clear by dropping the word prophesy. Verse 16 mentions the “churches of God” also causing me to understand this symbol for times when the church is worshiping together. I attend a church of Christ and have been covering for 10 years.
Love your reasons at the end about why do the bare minimum and how headcovering is a gift, protection, honorable. I had wondered why I’ve always had so many prayers answered but not more since I began covering- is sufficient. Good reason, and as you said, I wear a head covering because I don’t want to do the bare minimum. I am always looking for more of what my Lord wants to teach me. Also, about being a warrior I need to have my battle clothes ready. To that end I wear a headscarf because it’s more of a symbol than a hat-which I have a collection of before I decided a hat isn’t the symbol such as a scarf is. (I also find a cotton headscarf cooler in our hot humid summers-keeps my hair off my neck too.) I have began to where only a veil at church because I am after all the bride of Christ and a veil is appropriate.
I found out about the head covering through some Mennonites who showed me 1Corinthians 11. This was in 2005 and I've been covering ever since. Thank you for sharing your testimony.
Thank you for your obedience and allowing God to use you to help so many. I have always felt the need to cover myself when I am in prayer and intercession. I don't usually wear a head covering outside of that, but I certainly respect those who choose to do so. God is revealing so much to his people as I believe the day of Christ is approaching speedily. We need to be unique and different or like the Word says, a "peculiar people" in our lifestyle.
This is such an interesting topic. Thanks for dealing with it. I have heard that the reference to the angels comes from Genesis 6 where the angels saw the beauty of women and were tempted. Re: head coverings: I'm sure the covering isn't just for the Corinthian church. I think it was for ALL churches of that day because it was a symbol of modesty. Therefore, I think the modern application could be interpreted as, "All women should dress modestly. But not only women, but men too." Modesty is precious to God.
I'd like to do more research on the angels. I don't think the angels in reference to 1 Corinthians 11 are the same angels that thought the women were so beautiful. Research here we come! 👏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I 💯 Percent agree that it was for all churches men and women... A beautiful symbol of modesty.
Dear Faith, you are definitely right. As Christians from the Middle East, we (all women even little girls) wore scarves before entering any church. Also, whenever, I pray or read Bible, I cover my head, because of precisely what it is written. Not only us but also any female visit our churches no matter where she is from, she has to cover her head and we have many scarves at the church entrance. By the way, I'm in the United States since 1994, but whenever I attend church, I cover my hair, not my head. The mean point is the beauty of the woman, which is her hair.
Thank you sister. I started covering in 2019 as a result of attending a particular church. I have never looked back. It has been such a blessing to me. I had to get over some issues with revealing this to others. Jesus keeps encouraging me, however. I covered for my father’s funeral. Got nothing but compliments. I love listening to you. I hope all women will experience the blessings and joy of head covering.
Bless the LORD, Glory to God that you still continue to do what God has instructed you to do in spite of the nat Sayers! Beautiful 🙏🏽🤗🎇👏🏽 I'm with you, I hope and pray that all women will experience the blessings and joy of head covering
@FaithsOven Thanks so much for your encouragement, dear sister in Jesus our King. You're literally the first person ever to do so. That means so much to me. May God bless you and your family. Geraldine xxxxx
I recently tried to wear head coverings this year and my goal is to get over my fears of people looking at me funny and wear it full time! I am Christian woman and I have done a lot of research on head coverings and how it really used to be such a common thing up until feminism unfortunately. I think it’s more about modesty, showing your approval of gender roles, being submissive to your husband and doing what most women did for thousands of years until feminism destroyed everything. Should you wear it at church? Absolutely! All the time? Not totally necessary but I think should be highly encouraged. That is my opinion! Thank you so much for sharing your story. They are not many Christians out there that cover their head anymore. I really appreciate you speaking about this. God bless.
God just revealed to me, as you were speaking about who Paul was addressing in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16, that in order to understand who Paul was addressing, to go to 1 Corinthians 1:1. This letter was written to, not only those in Corinth, but to those in EVERY PLACE that call upon the name of Jesus Christ, according to the King James Version. Praise be to God! Also, I thought it may be helpful to mention Isaiah 47:1-3, where God explains what nakedness is. Uncovered locks he says is nakedness. When I searched the scriptures to find the answer to the question of how do I cover my head, God showed me ALL OF MY HAIR should be covered. Hope this is helpful in any way! Those who have an ear let them hear, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Amen. Beautiful Praying to process line upon line and precept upon precept.... More or so because Mary wiped the feet of Jesus with her hair. John 12:1-8... Focusing on verse 3. If it is shame and or nakedness to show hair, how then do we explain this?
@@FaithsOven Oh yes! What a good question! That is certainly something I will have to seek the Lord about! Regardless, I can't ignore God's description of nakedness 🤔. I shall certainly seek him on the matter!
@@FaithsOven God's will be done! Praise be to God for your precious video! I pray it plants many seeds, that women of God find the courage to obey his word and are given eyes to see and ears to hear. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
Hello! I wanted to share something with you. So I went to study that out, about Jesus's feet being washed by her hair....right away I realized that she was a sinner when she did that. Luke 7:37. Therefor I would expect her not to be wearing a vail. How exciting. I just wanted to share that with you.
Hi Faith, I had no idea at all. Are you doing videos helping us women to learn more about what Christ wants us to do. I always wondered why people wore the head coverings. Thank you for this video. Hopefully you will have more❤🙏🏽
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
I was preparing to start by day with my daily devotional, and I happened to come across this channel. Thank you for sharing. The spirit of God just told me to start wearing a headcovering, and so, I just began about a month or so ago and now I've gotten so use to it, I can't even leave my home without my head covered. So far I've had no one ask me why, but I do get stares from people but nothing out of the ordinary. However, my mother in law asked me why do I wear my head covered up....but I do agree, I believe that it is an act obedience , I believe it is for God's glory, I believe in it. It just feels right. God bless you😊
Thank you for this video. I remember reading 1 Cor. 11 and was unsure if this applied to me and so many people say “well it doesn’t really apply” but I said I would wait for the Spirit to lead me. Well here I am, experiencing heavy warfare and I decided on my own to cover my head and I have found some peace in my own mind. And the Spirit basically led me in “well I said what I said” (referring to 1 Cor. 11). I am realizing every day why discipleship is important. Get someone that will disciple you in the Word.
Once I started covering my head, I realized how strong I was in the faith because many people who knew me before the head covering would question what I was doing. Many felt I was too holy or too religious. Head coverings has become apart of my everyday day life-home, work , wherever. I cannot pray without covering my hair.
Thank you, sis. I really appreciate your testimony. As I too has been called to cover my head. I have been struggling with it and only started covering for church, and when I read the Bible and pray, but some times I am caught out there praying or professing the good word. Covering full-time is challenging, and it is good to see another woman who has recently made this change. You're very encouraging to follow and please our Lord Jesus Christ in the way He intended us to be as His daughters! Thank you, and God bless you always!
Thank you so so so much for making this video… it really blessed me. I had started wearing head coving about a year ago and had stopped really did not have a good understanding as to why I am wearing it and why I should wear it And became discouraged from wearing it at some point but now that I do have a true understanding I will be covering my head from now…. on thank you and may God continue to bless you!
How I was taught about this passage was that hats for men indicated rank, profession or position or a helmet for battle. A king’s crown, a centurion’s helmet, an athletic victory laural etc. So by removing hats or headcovers, men became equal and humbled by removing their status symbols. Women’s bragging rights and fecundity was seen as displayed by fabulous, what today we would call “sexy” hair. Big hair indicated fertility! And elaborate hairstyles indicated a servant. So covering hair took away individuality for women, and uncovering the head did the same for men. “Modest “ in the past didn’t mean not scantily clothed, it meant plain or restrained. So people were not to draw attention to themselves but to focus on worship and others.
Even the angels cover their glory in the presence of The Most High God. We should do the same. it is like we are naked in the presence of The Most High. We should at least cover when we pray or prophesy
WOW! LOVE it! Thank you for sharing. People saying it is only for the Corinthian church are so wrong, because it also says, in the end of the scripture.. And to all of the churches of GOD! AMEN.
From the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. MALACHI 1:11
Great video! Got to go back and read the whole scripture about Christian worship. And since I read it in the scripture, I will forever pray or prophesise without my head being covered. I tell people all the time. God is not saying it just to say it. It's reasoning behind it. Like this verse For this reason, and because the angels are watching, a woman should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority. 1 Corinthians 11:10 NLT I don't have to understanding when it comes to that verse. What does it mean. I'm sure God will reveal it to me. The more mature I become like everything else with the word of God. That didn't make sense but makes sense to me now.
Amen!! Amen!!! Amen!!! "God said it for a reason" that is the truth!!! We don't always understand right away, but obedience is such a blessing! 👏🏽🥰 How are you Rashad! Your comment made my day! 🙏🏽
You Nailed it when you said after the church obeys acts 2:38 and is filled with the Holy Ghost, then that's usually it. YEAH. So many stop there and never grow up! I have seen it so many times. It needs to be addressed to these people. Grow up yall. IT is time to take solid food, no more milk. Let's Obey GOD in ALL THINGS.
If God will fill me with the Holy Ghost, I KNOW He can do soooo much more and I want allllll of the abundance of what God gives. Yes... Let us see eat MEAT! Let us DELIGHT AND DESIRE MORE of God... So much more! 👏🏽🙌🏽❤️🥰
Enjoyed this so..thanks for sharing. I come from an apostolic background and we wasn’t taught but listening to Pastor Jennings he broke it down so like you did. It makes so much sense: I told my mom I feel so protective with my covering.
Baruch Hashem, my sister, I am so pleased other women covering their head. I am Apostolic Messianic and I cover my head too, not when I'm sleeping, though, unless I'm cold . What a lot of people don't get is that, when this letter was written, it was written to people who did not have a new testament . All that Yeshua preached from and the Apostles preached from was the Tanakh or Old Testament . So everything we read in the New Testament is found in the Tanakh; Although it is neither old nor done away with. Just something more for you to chew on. I love your heart chasing after God, keep pressing in and pressing on. Messiah Yeshua richly bless you.
💯 percent agree. That is a great point. Hubby and I speak of this same thing (concerning other topics in scripture) never thought to bring it up about the covering. Beautiful! Appreciate your comment! 🙏🏽✨
Sis…read Genesis 24:65. Rebekah veiled when she saw Isaac approaching. The angel part is incorrect. “because of the angels” is not because they are men, but rather because they cover their heads/faces when in the presence of God around the throne. The seraphim do this with two of their six wings. Read Isaiah 6:2. 1 Corinthians 11 is also about a hierarchy as God’s perfect design. God over Christ, Jesus over man, man over woman. Paul revisits this in verse 10. Power does not come from the veil( it is a veil and NOT A HAT…again see the scripture about Rebekah in Genesis), but rather power comes from the God-given authority that the husband has over his wife. Read what the Greek word for “power” is in verse 10. It is speaking about a husband’s authority over his wife. It is God’s perfect design. Just as Christ is our bridegroom and has ALL power and authority over the bride( church). Btw…I have been veiling for quite some time now. It’s in the will of God to do so because it’s in His word. How would a woman experience the glory of God while praying or prophesying if her glory( 1Corinth. 11:15 says that her long hair is her glory) is not covered with a veil?? No hats, beanies, berets etc., back in biblical times. Let’s be clear here sis. It does matter what is on your head. A hat does not cover your hair (your glory). Only….ONLY a veil covers your hair. Not a lacy doily but a full veil. If we are going to speak truth…the WHOLE truth in God’s word, let us always do so in love and reverence for Jesus. I love you all . The best way is to dive into His word and pray for revelation and understanding. God is a God of harmony, not confusion. His answer will ALWAYS line up with his word.
I appreciate your passion for the veil, and God's word, and I agree with alot of your points. 🙏🏽 God has been pressing me to (only) wear a veil. When I first began covering, I only wore veils. Now I also wear head scarves that cover my head and my hair and other things that I mentioned in the video. Also, as mentioned in the video, I said I have not read specific scriptures on what should cover our head. My understanding is, as long as the head is covered, then Amen! I've worn a hat, beenie, baret and they all cover my hair and head. God will continue to open my understanding. I love what God gave you "how can God get the full glory if my glory (hair) is showing" I love the understanding! Only question is, 1 Corinthians 11:7 Paul says that "women is the glory of the man" Women are not unseen but God still gets the glory? Yes? Bless the Lord! I will say I have read Genesis 24:65 when Rebekah covered herself. Why was she not covered before that? Lots and lots of questions that I have concerning this scripture. I know a few women who now cover, but they ONLY cover when praying and prophesying. How do you know when you'll pray or when you'll PROPHESY? Scripture says to be İNSTANT in prayer and to pray without CEASİNG and while doing so, we are to be covered. If we are to be instant and without ceasing in prayer then there is no moving the veil to the head because the veil should already be on the head, yes? But here we notice that Rebekah is covering for neither of those reasons, she covers because she sees her husband. Is She covering because she now has a head/husband? But 1 Corinthians 11:4 EVERY woman who prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head. I know there is an order, God, Christ, Man, Woman. Please clarify your understanding. Do you cover all of the time? Or only when praying and prophesying? Or do you only cover if you have a husband? Also, I would love a picture of a veil from bible times. I'm serious on every level. faithrocksjesus@gmail.com Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.... I am not sure how that scripture ties in with 1 Corinthians 11:9-10 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Need more revelation from the Lord on the two coming together. Kristine, please remember the process of understanding. The process of this beautiful journey that we get to explore as we walk with God. As we explore, I pray we are obedient as God gives revelations to each of us... But we remember that God gives to each of us at different times.
@@FaithsOven hi sis :) I meant no disrespect on your journey. However, I think it’s important to gain full understanding BEFORE making a video saying that you wear all sorts of head coverings. The part about the angels was pretty clear. It’s in 1 Corinthians 11:10. Angels understand that Jesus is Lord over them, hence why they cover when in His presence when giving glory to Him. God=Jesus. One and the same. True about women being the glory of her husband but a woman’s uncut hair is given to her for her glory, hence why it needs to be covered. The word in 1Corinth. 11:10 for “power” is exousia, meaning authority….as in her husband’s authority over her. Great questions regarding when does a woman veil. I have meditated on this one a lot. No clear answer biblically for age, married or not, but common sense would tell us that a young girl veils when her father says so. He is her authority until she marries. Perhaps Rebekah didn’t veil because she was in the presence of her servant, who was under HER authority. God is really driving this point home throughout the Bible. Love you sweetie and I pray your day is blessed so far.
@@Omi-to-7-Bunnies 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I don't mind living out my journey.. I get to put a stamp on it and reflect back and be corrected, and grow. I get to see the work of God and share. When I made the video, I believed I had FULL understanding. I know not ONE woman of God who believes in Jesus Christ as God who veils. I know women who cover their head but not veil. This subject is not preached. Me making this video no matter what you agree or disagree with, learning happens. We're conversing because of this video. I pray you share more of what God has given you! İt's important. Please don't believe that everyone "knows" not so. 🙏🏽
@@FaithsOvenI see this is older but I wanted to respond if I may! If women should always be ready to pray, and therefore, should be covered. Then so should men, and they shouldn’t ever wear a covering. (Hat) I believe the example of Rebecca (and even Leah) and so forth is to prove that covering was the ordinance and custom since the beginning. And it proves that it is for wives and not all women. Wives are subject to their husbands by choice and submission. Daughters are subject to their fathers through YHWH’s ordained design and appointment for families. Virgin maids/daughters to not have to be covered - as we see Mary, Rebecca before she sees Isaac, etc. Women of marriageable age can certainly choose to veil but I do not believe scripture requires it. I believe the woman’s glory serves a purpose and is a symbol of being single/virgin and is part of what attracts a man to a woman. I don’t think it’s immodest to show hair but I do believe the covering is meant to show that your entire body and submission is toward that of your husband. The word in Greek: gyne - can mean woman or wife. But I believe the proper use here is wife. I hope that makes sense!
@@FaithsOvenone more thing! I meant to comment on the verses 11-12. 😊 This ties back to the order of creation. Adam was made from the dust. Eve was made from the flesh of Adam. She was made as his helpmeet… a suitable helper FOR him. Not vice versa. He’s saying here that this is the order of headship and wife submits to husband. But then he’s also saying “nevertheless”…. It doesn’t mean men can abuse their authority because man now is born of woman! Women still have a right standing within the body to be able to pray, prophesy, use their given gifts but it must be done in proper order. To me that is the entire context of these chapters!!! Proper order within the home and ultimately in the body.
Thank you so much for boldly following what you understand in the Lord. I’ve been on the fence with this issue for some time. Sometimes I wear a head covering, sometimes not. At this time the only part I still wonder about is the possibility that my hair is my head covering. Pray for me I get the full revelation. I am willing to do it. I’m going to subscribe to your channel because I feel a sisterhood in the Lord with you. Oh, I also get hot and sweaty in a head covering. 😅
It's definitely a process when the culture is the opposite! Growing up in the US I never heard anyone teach on head covering, I saw on certain Sundays that women would wear hats but from my view wearing the hat was about a fashionable Sunday. The teaching and meaning behind the head being covered on Sunday was not there. Like you I was on the fence for some time because when I asked I was steered away from it as mentioned in the video. One of the most beautiful things about the Lord is that he is so personal. When we search for Him and His ways, diligently... He will show us! I do pray that you get the full revelation. I too thought that my hair was my covering too, so i pray that you go through 1 Corinthians 11 very slowly... God will give it to you! 🙏🏽🥰🎊
Consider Numbers 5:18. I believe the removal of the covering represents the loss of her husband’s protection during the adultery test in the court of judgment (outer court).
@@FaithsOven you are welcome. Also look at Isaiah 47:2 and Psalm 140:7. I also have seen it as the physical symbol of the helmet of salvation. I see headcovering as a crown for daughters of the king of the universe, physical symbol of spiritual protection. Perhaps the Nephilim that had relations with women before the flood are another example what Paul was talking about with the headcovering being a symbol of authority to the angels. I think the headcovering that married Jewish (orthodox) women wear is a warning to men that she is married, and in the case of believers wives are a symbol of the bride of Christ (headcovering being a warning to the angels that the lady is off limits under protection of Christ as their husband). In the days of Christ and ancient Israel couples to be married had a ketubah/marriage contract defining the rights and duties of each person in the marriage; for Israel and those Gentiles that are grafted in (Numbers 15:16-17, Romans 11:17-29, Ephesians 2:10-3:6) God’s commandments are that marriage contract, hence why Christ says in John 14:15 if we love him we keep his commandments. Also Jeremiah 3:6-12 talks about faithless Israel being given a writ of divorce, but Jeremiah 31:31-34 talks about the renewed covenant (marriage contract) given to house of Israel and house of Judah (the split after Solomon’s reign. The headcovering represents a woman in covenant with Christ in a sense. Modest dress is the same as headcovering, only the husband gets to the hair and body of his wife. I have a playlist on headcovering testimonies if that would help in your study. Even though I talk about headcovering in my videos, I think it’s more useful for ladies to see other ladies talk about their journey. I only seek to encourage my sisters in Christ with what I have learned from the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). Embracing tassels (Numbers 15:38-40, Deuteronomy 22:12, Zachariah 8: 23, Mark 5:25-30) was life changing for me in taking thoughts captive better (symbol of my ambassadorship for Christ, accountability tool), hence why I believe in headcovering so strongly.
Thank you so much for your explanation of the verses. I have been wondering about this for a long time. I think Jesus was leading me, but I wasn't paying attention. You have explained it so well. Thank you agian and I'm glad I found your vlog.
How do you feel about sleeveless shirts and dresses? I live in sleeveless linen dresses in the summer. Regarding modesty, I worked with Muslim women when I worked at Walmart and one thing they did was always wear long sleeves. Even in the summer when it was hot, they were in long sleeves. I asked them about it and they said it was for modesty. They said they wear tank tops in the privacy of their own home, but always wear long sleeves and cover their hair in public for modesty. I have lately been wondering if I should be wearing dresses with sleeves when I leave my house. If I am questioning, I also wonder if what I am feeling is actually conviction. So I am curious how other women who are fellow believers feel about sleeves vs sleeveless clothing. (I only wear dresses in public.).
Thanks for this video I watched it Jan 2 for the first time… I came back to comment because just today I saw another interpretation of Corinthians that sounds like a misinterpretation, which said to cover your husband’s authority I did not understand the explanation given have you heard of that and if so could you shed some light? I saw it on a video talking about another topic, but they commented on that one I can reference it briefly for you to see if you wish. Thanks
What an interesting interpretation. I have never heard "covering your husband's authority" before. ALOT of times the covering has been turned into a husband wife thing when that's not what scripture says. It says every woman and scripture addresses every man also. Man gets his authority from Christ so I'm not even sure that it makes sense for a woman to be covering man's authority. 🙏🏽 I pray the LORD leads and directs us in all wisdom concerning this. 🙏🏽✨ Appreciate you listening and coming back to comment. These conversations are important and so good. 🥰✨
Are you Orthodox? We cover our heads at church but I feel led to do it all the time. It is encouraged and accepted within the Church but not widely practiced (once service is over).
I only wear it at church and then when I pray most of the time sometimes I wear an everyday wear but I know the scripture says we are supposed to be always in prayer I usually carry one with me in the car. Do you think we should be wearing it all the time? Also all Christian women used to cover their hair especially at church until feminism in the sixties anyone can look that up they only recently tried starting to say it was hair
You're 💯 percent right... Literally all Christian women use to cover their head and research shows that muslim women began covering their head/hair because they saw Christian women doing so and loved that form of modesty. They've held on to it (but they believe the hair has to be covered) but scripture doesn't say this and modern Christian's have let it go. Head covering is a beautiful reverence and I hope more Christan women realize this. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 At home (because I'm a hot box) I don't always wear a covering. But when I leave home I believe in being covered!
Im apostolic Pentecostal. I’ve always viewed my uncut hair as my veil, but for the last few months to a year I’ve wondered about an actual veil/ hat/ etc… I have a few question’s though 1) what are your thoughts on the cutting/ trimming of a woman’s hair? 2) and thoughts on a man having long hair? (Myself I see it as a shame for a woman to cut/ trim her hair and a shame for a man to have long hair) Thank you for the video it definitely gave me some more insight! ❤❤
I don't have much understanding about women having uncut hair. Nor have I seen many scriptures asking women to have uncut hair. (As far as trimming) 1 Corinthians 11:6-7 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. I have understood shorn to mean "cut off" and shaven to mean "bald" But if I am shaved, shorn or have hair... I cover... Therefore I am submitted and honoring to what God is asking🙏🏽 There was a time when I fellowshipped with many Pentecostals and alot of non ethnic women had uncut (untrimmed) hair. I asked the Pastor, "if God gave women her hair as her glory and glory means marvelous, splendor, honour, beautiful, magnificent but a woman is walking around with uncut (untrimmed) raggedy, unkept, tacky hair, then why not just trim it so it is restored, why let it continue to split?" "Why is her hair to be uncut (untrimmed) but it is raggedy and not glory?" The Pastor proceeded to laugh at me but never gave me an answer. This is still my opinion (or question rather). I've talked to a few women who said that they don't cut or trim their hair because that's what God asked them to do. And if God asks... There's no debating... Although I do believe in asking questions As far as men having long hair... After Jesus came the scripture is clear 1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 🙏🏽 Keep the dialogue going... Why is it important to have uncut, untrimmed hair? Do you have scripture for this? 🥰
@@FaithsOven I guess I would have to look at 1 Corinthians 11:6 that says, [6] For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. (Shaven meaning bald. Shorn meaning cut) so if a women is not covered let her hair be cut but if it’s a shame for a women’s hair to be cut or bald let her be covered. I’ve always seen this as speaking if a women is not covered it’s as if her hair was cut in the eyes of God and the verse is making that out to be a shameful thing .? I hope that makes sense 😅. Would love to hear your thoughts on it?
Definitely go back and study 1 Corinthians 11... Letting the Lord lead... Come to the text with brand new eyes. Maybe even check out the Greek meaning to shorn and shaven. 1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. The reason I believe a physical covering is necessary because scripture says... If a woman prays or prophesies with her head UNCOVERED she dishonors her head for that is like she is shaven (bald) if it be a shame for a woman to be shaven (bald) or shorn (hair cut off) then let her be covered. Verses 14 & 15 address hair ... Nature itself teaches us that it is a shame for a man to have long hair (therefore his head when praying, prophesying should be uncovered... no physical covering) just like Nature itself teaches us that a woman having long hair means she needs to have a covering. 1 Corinthians 11:14-15 14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. I too used to believe that my hair was my covering, but I asked the Lord to reveal it to me the way He has it. I also did a pretty intense study on modesty and God revealed some beautiful insight. I don't think that I can make it make sense for you because I know how I used to see it... But take your time and ask God to reveal it to you. But to your original question about trimmed hair... I do believe at this point in my walk with God that a trim is fine for I understand shorn to mean "cut off" and shaven to mean "bald" and God didn't call women to look like men nor did he call men to look like women. I have heard that at the time of Corinthians women were being rebellious and shaving their heads to look androgynous. This is also why Paul says in Corinthians 11 that nature itself teaches us automatic ways of men and women. Also, women didn't stop wearing a physical covering until the 1900's... It's WILD how quickly things will change in this world. Believers and unbelievers alike all wore head coverings, it was the way for women to not be shame. 🙏🏽
@@FaithsOven thank you so much for your response! I definitely will pray and ask the lord to open my eyes! Again thank you so much for taking the time out to respond ❤️.
Good job sis! It's unfortunate the church has abandoned this apostolic teaching. Convicted is a misused word. It means convinced. What is important is that we are convinced the Bible teaches xyz. Unfortunately, some people think 'convicted' is the really guilty feeling you get when you know you should be doing something. We should never wait till we feel guilty to be obedient to the things that we are convinced the Bible teaches.
🙏🏽🙏🏽 🥰 such an encouraging comment! Bless the Lord! I have never heard nor seen conviction explained that way. It's beautiful, the definition that you give, definitely wish conviction was understood this way. I pray you continue to walk God's word out as he continues to open your understanding! 🎉
1 Peter 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. The Angels watch human beings and "when woman cover the heads we are giving glory to man thus honoring his glory in Christ"
Hey love, thank you for this video..I’ve had a lot of questions about this because I truly didn’t understand like you said, it has been hard for me to cover my head, though I still do it. I have a tiny head and I’m currently only able to wear my head wrap one way. Where do you buy your head shawls?
I prefer a weighty shawl so I have some that are a jersey material. They are a little bit heavier... Not heavy... Just heavier so they stay on a better to me. I order from voilechic.com/collections/hijabs.

Your statement of "you don't have to be convicted to be obedient " thank you!!!!!❤
God bless you! God convicted me to wear a headcovering in 2016. Isn't it amazing how He's speaking to all these women individually? His Spirit is moving and I praise His name!
I started covering my head 1 1/2 years ago and last year started covering at work. God lead me to cover all the time. No one has ever questioned me.
Awesome. Shine on.
I brought my head covering today I’m in love with it now
@@SySyPlayDay awesome. I see headcovering as a crown for daughters of the king of the universe, a physical symbol of the spiritual protection of Christ as their husband, hence why a woman suspected of adultery removed her headcovering for the adultery test in Numbers 5:18.

So what happened to the man whom did the Adultery with her? Why her alone is punished?

I loved to see that you cover your head with hats, scarves, ect because I do the same thing! ❤❤❤love this
Shine on sister. Think of headcovering as a crown for a lady of the king of the universe, physical symbol of spiritual protection, hence why it was removed during the adultery test in Numbers 5:18, also psalm 140:7.
I started covering my head about 3 weeks. I removed jewelry, and I feel better knowing that I just don't care how people see me. I am obedient to God

I prefer a veil, because I see myself as the bride of Christ and the wedding veil is uber appropriate for me.
I started head covering due to I'm married reverse to God and modesty
I thank you for your information due to head covering
As long as the crown of the woman's head is covered it's all good 😊. Whenever women are praying or reading scripts, we must have our heads covered
Exactly And when they talk to others about god!

1 Corinthians 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
Not "waiting for the *right* moment."
Thank you for posting this video.
Nice to meet you too! 👋🏽 It's such an abundant life when we obey the TRUTH.
Blessings to you
Praise God... May the Lord Bless you Sister to stand for the truth... Obedience is better than Sacrifice.Regards, Mary South Africa
🙏🏽🎉🙌🏽
Bless the Lord, you said yes and believed. Wow you didn't even know the scriptures existed. God is incredible! 🥰
Amen!!! Amen!!! A peculiar people! 🙌🏽🥰🙏🏽
1 Corinthians 1:2 tells us it is written to all who call upon the name of Jesus Christ.
I 💯 Percent agree that it was for all churches men and women...
Beautiful 🥰 I surely wish it were taught in more churches in America! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
God bless our Christian Sisters
Amen
Amen. Beautiful
Praying to process line upon line and precept upon precept.... More or so because Mary wiped the feet of Jesus with her hair. John 12:1-8... Focusing on verse 3. If it is shame and or nakedness to show hair, how then do we explain this?

Oh yes! What a good question! That is certainly something I will have to seek the Lord about! Regardless, I can't ignore God's description of nakedness 🤔. I shall certainly seek him on the matter!

Hello! I wanted to share something with you. So I went to study that out, about Jesus's feet being washed by her hair....right away I realized that she was a sinner when she did that. Luke 7:37. Therefor I would expect her not to be wearing a vail. How exciting. I just wanted to share that with you.

Thank you so much!! God bless you. Needed this understanding after reading 1st Corinthians 11
Thanks for explaining this so clearly. Started researching the past week and am sure now that it's necessary to be obedient.
Once I started covering my head, I realized how strong I was in the faith because many people who knew me before the head covering would question what I was doing. Many felt I was too holy or too religious. Head coverings has become apart of my everyday day life-home, work , wherever. I cannot pray without covering my hair.
Amen!!!!! 🙌🏽🙏🏽 Continue to cover in faith!! That is WONDERFUL 😊
I've been looking into this and this video was very helpful. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful testimony---thanks for sharing!
Be encouraged!! There's a lot more of us out here then not!! God is so good! 🙏🏽🎉🥰 Keep covering... Church is where we make it!
Glory to God!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🎉 God is so good!
Mahalo it’s been on my heart I need to get this done as well 🤙🏻🌺🙏🏻
How I was taught about this passage was that hats for men indicated rank, profession or position or a helmet for battle.
Beautifully taught. 🙏🏽
Even the angels cover their glory in the presence of The Most High God. We should do the same. it is like we are naked in the presence of The Most High. We should at least cover when we pray or prophesy
Thank you very much for this revelation. It has been weighing on my heart on & off but now it’s time to fully commit to His Word. God bless you.
I just ran into your video GIRL you explained this SO well. Thankyou!!!!!!!

Like this verse
For this reason, and because the angels are watching, a woman should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority.
1 Corinthians 11:10 NLT
I don't have to understanding when it comes to that verse. What does it mean. I'm sure God will reveal it to me. The more mature I become like everything else with the word of God. That didn't make sense but makes sense to me now.

I'm serious on every level. faithrocksjesus@gmail.com
Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly....

I don't mind living out my journey..
(Hat)
I believe the example of Rebecca (and even Leah) and so forth is to prove that covering was the ordinance and custom since the beginning.
Thank you!
Consider Numbers 5:18. I believe the removal of the covering represents the loss of her husband’s protection during the adultery test in the court of judgment (outer court).
@@messianichebrewshawnkawcak1550 😯 wow, about to take a look and that's another study. Wow, thank you
@@FaithsOven you are welcome.
Yes, Hallelujah for obedience 👏🏽👏🏽🫂🫂

Glad you obey that command sister. Most women refuse to.

I pray the LORD leads and directs us in all wisdom concerning this. 🙏🏽✨
Appreciate you listening and coming back to comment. These conversations are important and so good. 🥰✨
I Loved this video ! Thank you 🙏🩵whoop whoop 🙌🏽🩷
Are you Orthodox? We cover our heads at church but I feel led to do it all the time. It is encouraged and accepted within the Church but not widely practiced (once service is over).
Yeah, sister! 🙌🏼
All praises sis for repenting and keeping Gods laws. Lords will your husbands home continue to seek God and his laws
Head covering is only worn when praying or prophesying. If you are not doing those 2 things you don't have to cover your head always.
You and I have the same testimony on these verses.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
🙏🏾😁 I was just thinking about this topic! Thank you so much for sharing your views and for creating this video!!!
Thank you sister All praises to the most high God Amen
So right!! I love it!! God bless you and keep you!!
God blesses us when we honor dishonoring men, which is similar to honoring your patents, even when they are abusive.
Thanks so much Sister.
At home (because I'm a hot box) I don't always wear a covering. But when I leave home I believe in being covered!
Im apostolic Pentecostal. I’ve always viewed my uncut hair as my veil, but for the last few months to a year I’ve wondered about an actual veil/ hat/ etc… I have a few question’s though
1) what are your thoughts on the cutting/ trimming of a woman’s hair?
2) and thoughts on a man having long hair?
(Myself I see it as a shame for a woman to cut/ trim her hair and a shame for a man to have long hair)
Thank you for the video it definitely gave me some more insight! ❤❤
I don't have much understanding about women having uncut hair. Nor have I seen many scriptures asking women to have uncut hair. (As far as trimming)
1 Corinthians 11:6-7 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
I have understood shorn to mean "cut off" and shaven to mean "bald"
But if I am shaved, shorn or have hair... I cover... Therefore I am submitted and honoring to what God is asking🙏🏽
There was a time when I fellowshipped with many Pentecostals and alot of non ethnic women had uncut (untrimmed) hair.
Although I do believe in asking questions
As far as men having long hair... After Jesus came the scripture is clear
1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 🙏🏽
Keep the dialogue going...
1 Corinthians 11:14-15
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
I too used to believe that my hair was my covering, but I asked the Lord to reveal it to me the way He has it. I also did a pretty intense study on modesty and God revealed some beautiful insight. I don't think that I can make it make sense for you because I know how I used to see it... But take your time and ask God to reveal it to you.
But to your original question about trimmed hair... I do believe at this point in my walk with God that a trim is fine for I understand
shorn to mean "cut off" and shaven to mean "bald" and God didn't call women to look like men nor did he call men to look like women.
Beautiful I also cover as well thank you for this video
Mercy, is for the obedient.
Conviction, is for the proud.
Condemnation, is for the wicked.
Never heard this before. Definitely something to ponder on
Good job sis!
The Angels watch human beings and "when woman cover the heads we are giving glory to man thus honoring his glory in Christ"
wow i have the same dress that you are wearing...beautiful!
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾
Well said. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Faith, Hope all is well with you and the family. All of your Head Coverings are beautiful. Have a blessed day.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰
Thanks for this message. Thank you sooo much!! Xx
leviticus also has a lot to say about women's purity. Do you follow all these laws as well?
Share with me please, where head covering is mentioned as a law in scripture 🙏🏽
Hey love, thank you for this video..I’ve had a lot of questions about this because I truly didn’t understand like you said, it has been hard for me to cover my head, though I still do it. I have a tiny head and I’m currently only able to wear my head wrap one way. Where do you buy your head shawls?
I prefer a weighty shawl so I have some that are a jersey material. They are a little bit heavier... Not heavy... Just heavier so they stay on a better to me. I order from voilechic.com/collections/hijabs.
@@FaithsOven thanks so much, these are beautiful 😌shalom.
I started to cover as well my husband made a bit of fun of it and even my sister in law and brother in law that go church as well .
God is great and I pray as you are faithful with covering, the Lord too opens their understanding and they repent. 🎉🙏🏽🥰
