I was at this show. Someone gave me tickets because they thought he sucked but I knew he was something special. I went by myself, Grabbed two beers went to the front of the stage before the band went on. This club was on Lansdowne Street in Boston, the back of the club had a door that opened up to railroad tracks. While I was sitting at the front of the stage the door opened and the band walked in a puff of marijuana smoke lol. They were all laughing then they gave this performance and blew everyone away. it was amazing one of the best shows I've ever been at. I sat in the front row and looked right at him as he sang these songs. Amazing.
Sauce Llorón mama kin was a club owned by aerosmith behind fenways green monster in boston and the show was a series of lunchtime concerts sponsored by wbcn radio. the club was only there for 3-4 years. i saw grant lee buffalo at another show a few weeks earlier but that was at bills bar a few doors down. saw a million bands on landsdowne street, no record stores.
his voice is like velvet, and it sways me to sleep, I wish I could have witnessed his greatness. I love how he always changed up the way he sang the songs, the way he sings “ city dress” in this one is so fucking pretty I’m meltingggg
Fuck...May 19th in '95? A Friday night? Either I was at this show or I was bartending a block away. I love Julianna and I definitely would have gone to see her and I know I saw Jeff play somewhere....it could be this show! Fuck thanks for posting this
His voice was a one of kind beauty that was so alluring and haunting. He always changed up his songs when performing live and he always sang with emotion. He deserved so much better. He was such a romantic person, not only for relationships but just for life in general. I always take his words to heart and try to follow his philosophy of being present even in places where im not the most comfortable or fortunate in, and how there's still some beauty I can find ,in them. He was just too mesmerizing
So real will always be my favourite...first that passionate scream,a sudden silence then sounding "I love you" in the most sensitive way that I can not hold my tears.what will I say... I Love you Jeff❤♾ thankyou for this quality sound,a Belgian fan🙏

Kevin C This recording is in a store, not in a club. Or at least that's what the description says.

He says "Does anybody really care?..." (voices from the crowd: Yes/Yeah!) "...Show it".
