GoPro screw was too short so it was not the proper part.
I did not use a GoPro screw.
I also did this job on my 2022 300 XC without totally removing the throttle body.
    Took no testing for me.
Installed the new screw at the same throttle setting as the original screw held it at and adjusted the air bypass screw to find its sweet spot. Turning it in richens the mixture so is safe if anyone is worried. In is closing the air bypass so less air = richer.

Only use mine for when the CCPS starts to make the bike run rich and idle slower.

Just did mine today, so much loctite. Used solder gun until it moved, then just put some force on it. Everyone says use 2.5, but it was too big. #2 allen fit perfect and was nowhere near stripping out.

Total BS. I watched numerous vid's (including this one) on how to carefully apply heat and do this job only to have the 2.5mm allen snap off inside the idle screw. Now there is no way to get the oem screw out!! Be careful guys! Maybe adjust your idle with the cables and leave this F'd up screw alone. The thread lock the manufacturer uses is nearly impossible to remove. Fair warning.

I removed it on mine and it is indeed possible, Ive warmed the screw/surrounding area with a soldering iron on the warmest setting for like 20 minutes.

2.5 Allen was too big for mine. #2 fit perfect tight, the hole was super deep and I was able to used a bit of force. Still had to heat it alot. Took an hour.
