I like laying down my gesso with a 1" flat Brush. The brand really doesn't matter - I mostly reach for an inexpensive brand I can easily get a the local craft stores since I'm hard on my brushes LOL
Hi! I just love your channel! I was researching using the awesome gloss sprays and writing on a page using them with a Fude Ball pen and this video popped up. I saw that you used a Fude Ball on this page. Do you have issues with the Fude ball pen smearing on the gloss sprays? Do you use something over your piece to seal it? Or does it just take a while for the fude ball pen to dry. I just finished an art journal page using the gloss sprays and I wrote on it with the fude ball and it smeared. So sorry for writing a book here and I know its been a few months since you posted this video but, I really appreciate your help and advice! Thanks so much! Hugs!
I love my Fude ball pen for journaling and I can't say that I've had an issue with it smearing but it does have a longer open time than some pens so that might be why it smeared on you. Now, I need to do some experimenting specifically over the gloss sprays to see if it smears once dry or not! I don't usually seal my art journals with anything.
