If a person has bacherlors in psychology and masters in clinical psychology but do not have the 2 years required experience. What's the best way possible for them if they are living in UAE?
Hello. I would like to move to Dubai. I have Bachelor in Psychology and MSc In psychology and mental health, specialising in anxiety and depression. Please advise me how to I start with my job search? I am from Ireland.
Is there any rule that disabled clinical psychologists are not welcomed or can not work? The reason I am asking this question(stupid as it may sound) because I am disabled person with locomotor disability(cerebral Palsy) by birth but I am from a psychology field. And I am planning to work in Dubai in the future once I have enough educational qualification in field. Let me know, can I also apply and work in UAE?
I want to be a part of this program or practice. I have done BS in Psychology (Gold Medalist). Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology and Mphil in Psychology. I am a govt Lecturer in Psychology. I have rich experiences in treatment of mental disorders as a Psychotherapist\ Clinical Psychologist.
I have a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology and am planning to get licensed. The UHPQR manual issued by DHA states "In the Emirate of Dubai, DHA license Phycologist in Addiction, Clinical, Forensic, Health and Neuropsychology disciplines." (UHPQR, pg.108), so how is it mentioned in the slides that only Clinical, Health and Neuropsychologist get be licensed under DHA? I'm very confused. My research has shown a great disrepency in information regarding these licensures. Could you please Elaborate on that?
If someone doesn’t have bachelors degree in Psychology but have Masters in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology degree can they apply for DHA or DHCC license?
Hi, may I know which uni you got your masters in Clin Psy and Neuropsychology? I don't have a psy degree but am researching for a uni that don't require a psy degree. Hope you could share!
Hi, I appreciate the video and depth you have gone into it’s extremely incredible. However if you could guide me in my case. I have a bachelors in psychological sciences from Australia and a diploma of leadership and management. Do I have any prospect in registering even as an assistant psychologist and pursue my career in that aspect here in uae? TIA
The Process is very complicated and hard almost impossible why not only make a test and verify your degree is not fake instead of all other useless stuff
Hi..I'm in dubai on an investors visa. I was working as a wellness counsellor back home. Stopped during covid. I was thinking to work as a wellness counsellor in dubai. I've done my bachelor in education, then certificate and diploma in psychotherapy. Does everyone working here needs to sit for the licence exam?
