Initially I wanted to get into speedrunning, likely with this game because of the simplicity and my skill with fast inputs, along with the relatively short time on this category, and the fact I already had the game on 360. Needless to say you can only do warps on pc, which I didn’t care to research until after I had put hours of work into the first few techniques. Also as a side note to anyone wanting to learn how to speedrunning on 360, the skip to Abadis Forest will lock the system, so this game is basically impossible to run on 360.
Lol It says on my Steam library that I've played Dust for 20 hours, and completed it only once :D Nice going with the speedrun! Also that Gaius' fight with the map BGM felt so anticlimactic XD
He did it do that way he could allocate his own stat points. In that boss battle,since he's only level 3, he goes up to level 8. When in Casual difficulty, your stats auto allocate. If you allocate them yourself, you can get 5 gems in attack, and one in the rest. That way you have more attack for the final boss fight.
It’s basically a crouch attack and then a dash, and if you crouch and then attack and then dash and repeat you can animation cancel and on casual difficulty your stamina won’t run out
+TheBestKōhai yeah, but on easy mode you generate more than you lose! I was playing on hard, so I could only do three or so before I ran out of stamina!
I love that, even in an any% with warps speedrun, you can't skip the part where Pa dies cuz you weren't 'fast enough.'

May I ask why you set your difficulty to normal in the middle of the run? Was it for XP?

How can you spam the dash button? Only on casual or can it Aldi be Done in hardcore?

Is this tool assisted? If not, how did you open the chest at 6:53 so fast?
Im not sure but I think it's a one key chest (so you need only one input to open it).
I'm going to guess the button layouts for each chest are the same for that chest every game so he knew what to hit.
You can do that, Just tap all the buttons. On the hardest difficulty you can't do it.
