Petra, Pau did this as an Instagram challenge to herself - she asked for people to suggest songs, then she chose one, learned it, and put this video out a few hours later. So she went from zero to this *in a few hours* ! Not days or weeks of practice! That's why she screams "YES!" at the end - she knew she'd nailed it.

This is one of my favorite make-me-cry songs. With the key changes, it's not at all easy to sing---helps that she's accompanying herself on the piano. She absolutely nailed it---not only the technical part, but she delivered all the emotion. That's the first time I've heard her, and now I'm a big fan. I will go to her site and subscribe. She is the drummer of The Warning - a three sisters band from Monterrey (Mexico). Fantastic rock band. Listen to Pau singing Black Holes, Show Me The Light and further stuff. If you like rock music these young sisters are the real deal.

Petra - This one may bring you close to tears too. Here Paulina sings the lead on "The End" from The Warning's concert in November 2018. These young ladies have lived their entire lives in Monterrey, Mexico where the native language is Spanish. Paulina is only 18 years old in the"Creep" video you just listened to.

The warning is a special band with a very wide range of rock! Pau, Dany and Ale are so incredibly musically talented! I found them way back when Paulina was drumming to Kelly Clarkson when she was nine. So sad that the current situation caused them to have to cancel their first tour in America.

When you keep in mind, that she asked on Instagram what song she should cover and came up a few hours with that cover. Unbelievable.
Musicians that bring emotions in us are true musicians. So are Dany, Pau and Ale from The Warning. "When I'm Alone" almost makes me cry every time listening to it. Maybe you should check that out, too.

Yeah, I'm familiar with it and like it very much. It's really the most important mantra a person can live by imo. I wouldn't want anyone to try to be like me and I don't want to be like anyone else...well, maybe Bill Gates.😉
I like this very much. So beautifull. And here we see the difference with many of the (very) young artists from this time. They are awesome, no question about that, but somehow they are missing the experience in real life to give it the full emotions. That's not a complain or so, but it can be the reason that we feel sometimes a bit uncomfortable when a kid is singing songs like this. Listen and look to Jadyn Rylee from Canada, you did react on 2 or 3 of her covers, singing this song 4 years ago (when she was 10 years of age), also on RUclips, and you can probably see what I mean: she sings it "out of this world" so good" but.....
Wow... I have head several covers of this and this was done pretty well. I still like Mimi and Josephines version the best cover wise. It was done similar to this. I know you can not put reaction from the voice kids up but you should watch it at least. Very well done.

I usually like The Warning's originals better than their covers and part of this involves the vocals.
There's at least one hold that she doesn't do in this cover that would make it just a little better if she had done it.
I also heard at least one mispronounced word that she did in such a way that it doesn't work.
Otherwise, again, I do like this. If she had done any screaming then I might not have liked it as much.
Relevant to how the original is sung, she emphasized very well, yet with her own twist.
I love it when non-professionals move me.
She is a pro. She is in the Warning Band. 1 EP and 2 LPs.

I'd heard there was a band called Radiohead. I never heard any of their material, that I know of. I checked out the original "Creep". I never would have listened to it twice. In fact, I, almost certainly, would have turned the dial well before the song was done.
For me, much like "Atlas Rise" and "Wish You Were Gay", "Creep" will always be a song from The Warning.
So I say, devoid of sarcasm, Radio who?
The Warning are otherworldly. Nobody does it better than DPA.
