Just think: She did this as a challenge 1 Saturday (Pau day to fans). On Instagram she gave a list of several songs and asked fans which one to cover and this one won. Depending on sources either 1 or 3 takes this is the result. Pau is amazing, ain't she?!
The muse (I dont mean the band) burns deep in Pau I think. These sisters are phenomenal and will be HUGE and I am so excited for them. Nice reaction too btw
One word….YESSSSSSSSS! I love Pau! Seeing this for the first time I was like whoa! Seeing them live for the first time live I was like WHOOOOOA!! These girls are as popular as they are bc OF WHO THEY ARE as humans. They all have HUGE hearts, and they come from a really good family! She absolutely killed this song…in a good way! Seeing Paulina playing the piano is a treat in itself. If you can, PLEASE go see them live girl! Believe me when I tell you, “You have been warned” is 💯 TRUTH.
Jen! I’ve seen some of your reactions and I love how honest you are in each one of them! Great you got the chance to watch them live! I did so too opening to Gun’n’Roses last November and it was an extra super special treat! Love to see more of your reactions in the near future!
Pau's version has me chopping onions every time, especially at the end. The emotion and inflection she puts in her voice just hit me hard. Then her excitement at the end has me back smiling. Glad you waited all the way through. So many reactors miss the last part. I was waiting on one more TW reaction before i subscribed. This suffices. I look forward to the next one.
This is fair, but at the same time the original song shows control. Throughout the entire song he doesn't do anything out of the way. He just sings a good song. Keeps it inside (like all us creeps do) and just does his thing. This just feels way more emotional to me than what I take the original intention as. Not saying it's bad at all. It's important to take music and interpret in any way that makes you comfortable.
I love this one, especially because Pau is playing the piano, she is so good at it. She really gives it her all in this one, it's an emotional performance for sure.
Love Pau so much and she just crushes this song. Every time I see someone react to her version I hope they play it all the way until the end. So many just stop it and miss out on her celebration. Even on their live performances, if there is time after the song keep watching because something cool or funny happens. Love it when they mess up and they’ll leave it in for everyone to see and can laugh at themselves. Have a great day! Okay
Pau with a piano and a cell phone. BTW, most songs from The Warning begin with Pau at a piano. Once she has a good start she will pitch it to her sisters and if they agree then the three of them will work on it together and then go to their basement to begin creating the parts. They are all involved in each facet. They create the bass, guitar and drum parts together unless they drop the drums and just have Pau on keys through the whole song (Black Holes and Show Me the Light).
Brilliant reaction for such a great power that is Paulina aka Pau. This impromptu challenge cover is one of my faves of her performances. In addition to her crazy skill on the drums, she is such an accomplished vocalist as well. Her voice marries so well with her older sister Daniela for their original The Warning compositions. Thanks for reacting to this cover as well as showcasing it. Take it easy! 👍👌🤘✊
As always Tauri, a pleasure to watch your reactions. This cover by Pau is so full of emotion and passion. Living every moment through the music and vocals. Very powerful and so typical of The Warning as a whole. They are fully engaged 100% in all they do. Great stuff Tauri. 🤟
It's weird to say a 19 year old did something classic years ago...but it's true and I did say that. She's got such an amazing voice. And she's an amazing performer as well. This is what got me into the Warning. Probably shouldn't have a favorite sister but I just love Pau's passion in everything she does Great reaction!
Dang, Pau has a pretty damn good voice. I mean I knew she sang, but I've never heard her do anything but backup vocals EDIT: Just came back and listened to it again. Like the smoke and grit she can put into her timbre to emphasize the emotions in this piece, it's just beautiful
The Warning are without a doubt the real deal…..so far, and I believe this statement will hold, these sisters are incapable of putting out anything subpar. I close most of my comment with the following, and it comes from the heart every time I type it… LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS and in this case PAULINA VILLARREAL!
Few years before. The RUclips group PostModern Jukebox featuring Halley Reinhardt did a slow down bare bones of *Creep.* I do believe Pau did her vision like PostModern Jukebox's. Even though it was Pau & her playing a piano. She still had to pull it off. And she did.
Haley had the full PMJ band backing her,it wasn't as stripped back as this version by Pau. Until Pau did this 2 years ago, that Haley Reinhardt and Post Modern Jukebox cover was my favorite
@@robhaunui3343 - yeah. But Haley's PMJ version already stripped Radiohead's rock version down to a piano version. First time I ever heard *Creep* was Pau's version. Wasn't a Radiohead fan nor heard PMJ before. There's that.
PAU IS AN EXCELLENT MUSICIAN, SHE IS A ROCK STAR, SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST DRUMMERS IN THE WORLD, GREAT COMPOSER, WITHOUT A DOUBT SHE WILL BE A ROCK LEGEND
Aloha @Tauri! So you said you wanted recommendations for artists that are new to you...and I've looked at your site...so allow me to introduce you to: Larkin Poe, 2 sisters from Nashville, Rebecca Lovell(guitars, mandolin, banjo, violin, piano, digital programming and lead vocals)...Megan Lovell(lap steel slide guitar, dobro and harmony vocals). Roots, blues, Americana rock and have been independent artists since 2010, with 7 albums, 4 EPs, RUclips channel and numerous social media channels. Like The Warning, these ladies have a similar musical upbringing...parents that are not musicians, but are rockers, and support their daughters in their musical career. It is really difficult to recommend a song to introduce you to them because just like The Warning...they don't have bad songs!! Blood Harmony is their latest album...so a solid rocker would be Bad Spell, but if you prefer a slow burn bluesy song...Deep Stays Down! Enjoy! Cheers! Love and Aloha!
OOOhhhhhh, that vibrato ! Since I heard Haley Reinhart's jazz interpretation of 'Creep' with PostModernJukebox, (link below) I try to view as many other covers as I can........it's as if all the artists try to outdo the others with their covers.......very interesting and fun musical exercise I think........ ruclips.net/video/m3lF2qEA2cw/видео.html
Annnnd....she's the drummer for the band. Talent beyond compare.

A piano, a phone ....... and PAU, the most gorgeus singer, drummer, songwriter.... ROCKER! It's PAU!

Drumeo awards-Pau won best rock drummer

Ironically (in the Alanis sense of the word) Pau is one of thus world's truly special people.
I love PAU, amazing musician and human being

Every song from The Warning that you've checked out is wonderful because every song they do is wonderful!
This is just really beautiful I had tears coming down my eyes 👀 😢
Never say just a drummer - this gal has the goods! ❤️🤘#NumberlyGarfs
Certified musicians! Full of passion! Viva TW!
She puts so much emotion. I’m going to their show in few hours in Boston 🔥

They are so talented sisters.
Well, She ain’t shy. Beautiful version of this classic full of feel and emotion, it might just be my favourite even above the original 👌

She's 20 now
@@TaunusMicha I wasn't sure, don't know when the sisters' birthdays are

Listen to Dust to Dust, Narcisista, Survive, Black Holes... all sung by Pau
@@TaunusMicha Absolutely! I really like the Creep one because it's stripped down to only Pau's vocals and one instrument, but she's great in those too
Another fantastic entry. Never been disappointed with anything related to anything any one of them does. Nice reaction.
Angel's voice! ❤❤❤
Pau is the foundation of the band ..they are all 3 amazing vocalists and musicians..

I hope Pau wasn’t upset when Radiohead covered her song CREEP. 😂

Just think about it for a bit, she is a young Mexican girl singing in English which is not her native language, just Majic! Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
😘
was my introduction to The Warning.......🤣😂
Please do dany covering my future on piano and wish you were gay. Pau is great but so is dany

"Pau" from "Paulina." Pronounced "Pa-ow." Don't forget the "a."
