Now, this is talent! No autotune, no studio processing, nothing at all except a very talented young woman, a piano in her house, and a cell phone recording. A true artist.
Every time I listen to this my eyes fill up, that’s what it does to most of us!

Pau portrays a fragile vulnerability which is very fitting for this song. Her ability to capture the emotion of the mood is impeccable.
That's exactly it. This song is vulnerable and her version, so stripped down, reveals the fragility so beautifully.
There is something in Pau's voice that touches me down in my soul. The RH original of this song never really did much for me, but this version, OMG. Similar to her song BREATHE. The slightly out-of-tune family piano (that I hope they never fix). The raspy warble in her voice. It all gets to me.
The only CREEP cover I put in the same category is sung by Haley Reinhardt with Post Modern Jukebox. Like this one, done in one take, with very little rehearsal. And magic comes out.
She learned this song and arranged this performance in about 4 hours flat. Think about that.
This IS ‘Creep’. If Disturbed owns ‘The Sound of Silence’, if Johnny Cash owns ‘Hurt’ then Pau OWNS ‘Creep’. Pau+🎹🎹=😢 & magic.
To your list I would just add that The Warning now owns Enter Sandman.
Pau does her composing of demo songs for TW to share with Ale and Dany on this very piano, or on a midi keyboard plugged into her laptop. So, the vast majority of their 50 or so original songs were created with this instrument.
Pleas go watch this on the Warning channel. It should be their next video to hit one million views. Fun fact Pau won a recent poll of best creep cover. They then put her up against radiohead and she crushed them. The Warning Army is strong.

The Villarreal sisters continually amaze me. They each have their strengths, as Pau amply demonstrates here. But together, as a trio… they are pure magic. Pau calls it "sister magic." I hope this life brings them everything they deserve. They’ve certainly worked for it.

The out of tune piano is their home piano where they played for years ( watch the old video when they were very young)

I had listened to the original 100s of times, but the lyrics didn't hit me until I heard Pau's version. chopping onions every time.
I agree, after I heard her version I went and listened to Radiohead version and even though is a great song I did not felt the emotion as I did with Pau's version, she sure knows how to convey the emotion out of the songs she sings.

This gave me goosebumps the first dozen or so times I saw it. Pau is amazing. Dany does solo covers too and, she can sing just about any genre. You should check out Dany's "Midnight Shows" or "Dany Sings" too.

Pau's ability to convey emotion and grab you by the feels is unmatched, an absolute prodigy (as are her sisters)! You can't get more raw than a slightly out of tune piano, one voice and a cell phone, The Warning truly are a gift!
the song that began MY The Warning journey. the "feels" Pau imparts is just PERFECTION! The anger, the frustration and the angst at the end, letting her voice trail off,, DAMN!!

So she was tasked to play this song. Learned it, wrote the piano cover and recorded it in just 4 hours. Amazing. No wonder she was so excited about it. Pau is awesome.
Wow! What a reaction! I typically would hardly ever say they did it better from the original. But The Warning are special and I would have to agree with you! They just rock on all levels of music, super talented, for sure!

It’s stunning she learnt the song a recorded this within a couple of hours. She is incredible.
If you want to hear an artist live the lyrics as she sings them, then listen to Pau, or Dany. They both work so heard to convey and capture the emotion behind the words. This cover by Pau is simply perfect. It reaches in to my chest and pulls at my heart. Every nuance, so powerfully conveyed. You’re spot on. I’ve watched some great covers. Haley Rienhart and PMJ’s is excellent. But Creep now belongs to Pau.

Apparently it is not unusual for Pau to get up during the night if that is when inspiration strikes and especially during the pandemic we were often treated to midnight concerts from Dany with an acoustic guitar. I'd really like something like that from Ale since her sisters have both said she was the best piano player of the three. Hopefully she has stayed in practice. I have heard a brief snippet of Dany playing her sax but not Ale. Dany has commented that she is out of practice & probably Ale is also since they were still in school when they were actively playing sax. I have some hope of them having some live piano numbers when they get to bigger venues and longer sets. It was outstanding at the Dakota Bar when Pau came out from behind her kit to play both Black Holes and a bit later to play Show Me the Light. Pau demands an emotional response with her voice.

To not have to stop the video before then end, if you look at the bottom right of the video, there is a button that looks like a switch with a play icon on it, click on it and it will change to a pause icon and voila no more auto play of the next video.
