Hey mate! So... the Ambiences of the Blackbox are not exactly the same as the Mini U and the Elemental, but they have some of them. Suggest you to check my review of the Mini U and Elemental to understand if there is any other algorithm that you would miss. But I could tell you that having the possibility to use presets makes the Blackbox as a good alternative for the two pedals stacked. Compared to the Ampero, they are in different league. The Modulations of the Ampero Mini are much better. It is a stereo equipment. It has more features of Effects on top of noise gate, compressor and Boost... so it is difficult to compare. Iam shure you know them aswell. For me the are more or less ok, but they are getting slowly really aged, and i want an upgrade, in terms of effect quality. What dou you think, will the Ampero mini also be in a diffenrent league (compared to the zoom`s - mainly for the Reverbs and Delays wich i use the most time) ?? then, i think my solution will be, to get the Ampero Mini as my main, or the better "High Quality Multi EFX" device, and the M wave Mini U and Elemental as "fun Toys" ---> (many Synths need many different Effects 🙂). Or do you have maybe a different recommendation in the 200 euro range.. ? Thanks again Appreciate your Help

Does it have built-in audio interface?
Yes!! You can connect it via the USB-C and it recognizes! Works also on the mobile! 🔥
thanks for the nice Overview for the Blackbox ! very interesting little device!
Iam searching some new Effect devices for my Synthesizer Jams.. so no Guitars for me XD
I have the M-wave Mini Universe & The M wave Elemental Delay on my list or instead maybe The Blackbox ..? at the Maximum for my budged iam Thinking about the Hotone Ampero mini.. is there a big difference from the Quality of the EFX`s ? the Price is more than double...
Would be nice if someone have some nice inputs for me.
Thanks 🙂
Hey mate! So... the Ambiences of the Blackbox are not exactly the same as the Mini U and the Elemental, but they have some of them. But on the budget league, I believe the Blackbox is a pretty good product! I hope it helps! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs Hey Man,Thanks for your quick response!
I watched your Videos of them already 🙂 Ok, i see i have more Algorithm options with the Standalone padles. To have no presets seems at the moment not a big miss for me. In a Jam situation, i always will play a bit with the settings.
The multi EFX what i use atm, is the Zoom MS70-CDR, and the G1Four. ?
Thanks again
Appreciate your Help
is there an active community for sharing the amp captures??
Not centralized mate, but my members club has many of them! And I am curating and adding many others soon! 🎛️🔥
Can i use the chocolate wireless midi controller on it? Thanks
Unfortunately no! M-VAVE will release a new version of Midi Controller which iw compatible with it! But for now we will need to survive with only two footswitches! :( 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs wow still its a good news! Thnks man
You are welcome mate! Cheers! 🎛️🔥
Thank you
Thanks to you! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Man, what do you think of Marshall simulations? And listening only by earphones? Graçias, amigo. Abraços. 🤘🤘🔥🔥
The Marshall ones are ok, but a little bit too bright for my taste! Of course you can correct it with the EQ and choosing a proper IR! 🎛️🔥
Does it have a feature of analog peds like the tank G?
Yes... same as Tank G! Cheers mate!
@RiffsRigs Really? It has a live feature, too? Niceeee
Use it playing with a bass. Thnx!!
I am really limited on my bass playing skills, but I can try it soon!! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
maan I wish the reverbs had pre-delay.
It misses this control for real. Same also at the mini Universe... :(
M-vave is not the first to do this, but why does it look like they're changing the game? Prolly coz of the price? Not sure. But yeah, they've been releasing great stuff lately.
They just released a NEW Delay pedal, even after the Elemental Delay... they are on fire!! 🔥
@@RiffsRigs they are indeed! 💪💪💪
Latency?
Hey mate! I didn't notice any latency issues... but it has a miliseconds gap when changing presets! Take this into consideration. It doesn't pop, but instantly cuts the sound for some miliseconds! I hope it helps! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs No, i about latency betwin in and out signal. Search "leo gibson latency test".
Such a processor is ideal for a Sonikake Hotone or Nux processor loop send-returne
Totally agree! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Is it good for bass guitar too?
It works pretty fine mate! I am not doing a review of that because my bass skills are even worst than my guitar ones! hehehe But it is a pretty decent unit, specially if you will load your custom captures!
is true by pass ???
Definetivelly not. It is probably buffer bypass, as it has conversion to digital inside the circuit. Cheers mate!
@@RiffsRigs muchísimas gracias por tus consejos !!!!
@jesusamayaguitarra77 you are welcome! Saludos! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs porque los pedales Flamma si bien son digitales, al dejarlos apagados sin conectar los 9V igualmente la señal de audio sigue pasando por ellos...
Does this support m vave chocolate?
Unfortunately no! M-VAVE will release a new controller which is compatible with the Blackbox! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs Noooo 😭
@@AndreChrisyudhait is a pitty! I agree! I asked them to send me with the Chocolate and they replied me this info. But soon the new midi controller should be out! And improved!!
Be careful with spelling even in the title Vave is not Wave, and it is the same in case of amp and preamp these are two different things
Thanks for the feedback mate! Cheers! 🎛️🔥
VENGO POR TU COMENTARIO DE ALI EXPRESS XD 🎉
Bienvenido! 🎛️🔥
Man, are you trying to play some riff like Spoonman?
No no... just noodling something at the guitar! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs you have a good Groove. 💪💪👏👏
I don't understand why any of these digital modelers can't do high gain without the hiss.🤔
It depends on the quality of transfer of the capture. Some colleagues at RUclips reduced a lot the hiss noise by transferring the captures via SyncoAnn, instead of using the M-EFCS! The custom captures are more silent also! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Zoom ms50g is much cleaner
It's "em-veyv"
Doesn't matter tbh
No gain, no buy. Paid $140 CDN for a NUX MG300. Sounds awesome compared to this.
The NUX is an amazing multi-effects, but it plays in a higher league! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Needs an XLR out.
I agree it was a downgrade to remove it, compared to the Tank G. Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Guys, you can buy a New m vave IR Box. Has XLR DI, etc.
Heavy whammy bar use for the modulation fx demo wtf
Just noticed later mate... sorry for that! My bad!
@@RiffsRigs appreciate it
AMPERO mini KILLER!!!
This comment can harm sensitive feelings of some people! Careful 🚨
😂 I'm a big fan of mvave, but I think the ampero mini is slightly better (i have one). I'll probably get this one too. The tank g w/captures is a great value too.
@@EdBendertwo different leagues of products! But the Blackbox has potential for solving 90% of the issues of many guitar players who need only the basics! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs yep, I agree. Seems like a great product. Mvave has been upping their game. The batery power is a really nice feature for practice and casual jamming too.
Nah, Ampero mini is way more flexible than this. Ampero mini is standalone, blackbox is more for pedalboard with others external pedals.
There’s an annoying warble in every tone. It’s like the unit has a whammy bar built in that cannot be switched off.
It is a problem with the guitar player which is addicted on its guitar whammy bar mate! Hahaha this is my fault, not the equipment's fault! 😬
@@RiffsRigs 🤣🤣🤣 👍
nicee
It is! 🎛️🔥
The distorted amps sound really bad, a lot of hiss in it as well.
The factory ones are not that good, but there are amazing captures for high gain, like the Gojira capture! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
Sorry, but what you're picking up on the guitar doesn't help to judge the sound.
Sorry mate, but maybe my content is not for you. Appreciate the feedback anyway! Cheers! 🎛️🔥
How the h*** do you charge it? All I got was a usb to c cable. “It can charge with the 5v adapter or the power bank. When the battery run low, you can use the 5v 2A adapter”. There is no adapter. Wtf
You will need to use a mobile phone base charger, or it also loads on the USB port of the computer! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
jeez i wonder what could this brand offer us for a $1000 modeller 😂
They have JUST announced a bigger Multifx with FXloop, expression pedal, bigger screen.. lots of upgrades! Lets see if this prototype will move forward! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs whereeeee
@@joaquin8637 Facebook of some people which visited the Shanghai Music China Expo! 3 new prototypes: MK-300 which is a multi-fx with Expression Pedal, almost like a Matribox II. One Stomp style multi-fx called Tank PRO, which has 3 footswitches and apparently stereo XLR outputs, connectivity to Expression pedal and etc, and finally a Tank Mini, which is an upgrade Cuvave which allows loading of tone captures, like the Tank G!
you should show all the Modulations without using your wammy bar, so we actually get to hear exactly what the unitis outting out with out your wammy bar mucking it up...please...Best wishes, I sub'd and liked your video.
Kinda on the nose the way they directly ripped off the design of the 1010 Blackbox then literally used the same name 😂
Totally!!! HAHAHAH
Thats what I thought at first but its a completely unrelated product and it's not like 1010 invented black boxes
Being straight all the effects on the unit sound anemic to me. Just a bit hollow in tone. Don't really understand any multi fx being mono just doesn't make sense. Especially when the effects are digital meaning the only difference between stero and mono is a bit of code. That trust me, is basic. I think I'd take a second hand zoom or line 6 multi fx any day. Same money or less better sound and stero and an expression pedal. So what you can't Bluetooth your FX. No point in that if they sound this bad imo.
No Thank you!
You are welcome! :) 🎛️🔥
@@thesaj1110 why
Mvave black box sound like toys.. better buy mosky M Series
The Mosky M has interesting stuff, but those are different applications! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
They have the new G3 and G4 on M series as well!
you're cool, you use the lever to do the vibrato!
hehehe Thanks mate! Cheers!
How to install M-EFCS on PC windows? I can't connect the chocolate midi to blackbox, they said i need to update the blackbox into V9...
