Ben this was the first camper me and my friends went to Glastonbury in the Talbot , and I felt like a pig in shit , sorry but I really did. And when it was over he never used it again. Not even for the next time, hope it goes smoothly for you, and we're is the ssb going to go lol. Cool rig ya got there. You would laugh at the rig I have here in the states, but its a 3/4 ton Ford diesel pickup truck with a 26 foot flatbed utility trailer with a homemade box, 6 foot wide 8 foot long 6 foot high camper/sleeper. The last 8 feet of trailer is a covered outdoor deck where I keep the deep freeze, microwave oven, camp stove and folding chairs. I carry a propane powered generator to charge the batteries and run all electrics. Not much to look at like yours but a fun rig for camping, hunting, fishing or just getting out and away from people. And I take the Traxxas RC stuff to the woods too.👍
Hi Ben my wife bought a talbot 1990 with no power steering a couple of months ago we had to completely strip every thing out as all the wooden frame just rotted away the only thing in the van is a gas locker and that it. Where the cassette toilet and shower was there was a hole in the floor as some bright spark had put 2 heavy batteries on the wheel arch and had pushed the wall away from the frame now i have fixed that where the water heater was there is a hole in the side which i hope to get fixed soon. what kind of immobilizers did you fit.
@@neilglenwright7384 Not much had power steering back then lol. We have a new frame now; not much else to do apart from normal things like bearings how and some little bits here and there.

I use normal petrol with some Redex mate, I do now and then put 99 in it if it's cheap enough in that particular petrol station lol.
