Mines a 1993 Talbot Symphony. Like your top windows, mine are slider ones. Mine's in good nick too and luckily I'm married to an old school mechanic for when things may go wrong! Your layout is completely different to mine. Shows how many layouts they can get out of such a tiny space. You have a nice clean looking van. You've inspired me to do my van tour if the rain ever goes away. I've had it 16 months and not done one yet.
We had one of these!! They are fantastic vans. Ours was called the Clownwagon…..our children had expected a cool Vdub-type camper- but we turned up with one of these….”you’ve bought a Clownwagon”….they didn’t complain when we went down to Cornwall almost every weekend in the summer holidays though! Driving it was a bit like cycling- speed up on the downhills, crawl up the hills😂. So lovely to see you keeping it going. ❤
I loved my road trip in The Doctor, but have now sold her. I'm currently looking for my new van to then set off on a 1 / 2 year European trip. Hopefully new videos starting in October so stay tuned. PS: definitely want something that has little more get up and go for hills! ;)
Rambler (harmony, symbol, symphony) are all Talbot and later Peugeot from Auto Sleepers, Not to be confused by any models from Auto homes. Very different companies and designer.
The Doctor is a tiny house that I would love to live in seasonally as I travel around the country in spring, summer and/or fall. It is amazing that it was created in 1983. I’ve never seen anything as efficient in the States where I am. I would buy it in a heartbeat. ❤️ Mo in the US
Wow! Binged watched you lol... Love The Doc!! My partner and I bought a Talbot. Ours is the motorhome type. I guess we have spent around a year sorting it. 45k miles on the clock. Last Mot passed with no advisories!! 1989!! It certainly gives us the extra space the Doc doesn't. We also have the power steering upgrade 🤣 can't wait for the next videos mate. Oliver 👍😎
Hey Oliver. Glad you liked the videos. I've actually now sold The Doctor and she's back in the UK. Already looking for my next van which will be bigger like yours so actually a motorhome. I definitely want more space for Koa, a permanent bed and ideally a separate shower 🙏🏼 I'll start some more videos probably around September time as that's hopefully when I'll be hitting the road again. Having said that once I actually view some vans I'll 💯 document it. Enjoy your travels. Rich & Koa.
Hello. My wife and I have the exactly the same van. Ours is called Freddy. Ours is a 1992 on a K plate. We have a drive away awning with a pod for sleeping. We are a family of 6 and love the camper life. Heres to seeing many more videos from you.
WOW! I've never seen or heard of another Sienna 🎉 What colour scheme do you have? I also have a drive away awning, but as it's just Koa and I, plus we're moving either every day or every other day we don't use it. Lovely to hear about your van ❤
There’s a couple in the TEOG FB group! I’m surprised by the layout. Somehow seems like you have more space than mine, particularly in the seating area. Happy holidays
Bonjour from South of France^=^ Your camper van is what i am looking for but i am in South of France...Thanks for your instructive vidéo!^=^! It would fit well on my new channel as in France it is called Peugeot J5. Would you know where i could buy one? I have great project with my channel and i am after this style.
Hi. I think the best place to buy these little classic vans is in the UK unfortunately. There are always some for sale in varying conditions on the likes of eBay. They're not expensive, but do need to be looked after well. Obviously in the UK it would be right hand drive 🙈 Good luck 🤞🏼
@@CampervanCasa Bonjour ^=^ Thank you very much for your kind reply. I used to live in London for my English studies back to 2001-2007 till my Cambridge Proficiency. So, dealing with sellers in the UK would not be an issue but unfortunately all my friends are now gone so housing would then be the biggest issue. It may take some time to find the right one and could not afford housing for long enough.... What is teh type or chassis number, refernce i should look up pn E-bay please? As I used to dive teh London's double deck fro London United buses no worry with side's drive^=^ best regards
What a fantastic little van. 😊
We agree! 'The Doctor' is the perfect pocket rocket. Totally self sufficient and fits in to all kinds of places other vans can not reach! 😀
Thank you. I am a great fan of those vans and found it very interesting.
I'll be selling her soon once we get home so let me know if you're interested? Koa needs more space he told me 😨
@@CampervanCasa I understand that you need more space. It must be hard to sell a lovely van with so much character. All the best with your van search.

Looking forward to your van tour now 😉 I'll be buying my next van at the end of September and then we're off for a year or 2 around Europe 🙌🏼

Maybe you should look at the cost to import 'The Doctor'?😀 She'll be for sale once we get back to Ibiza next month.

It's all a little crazy, but a wonderful way to escape 😊
I think these campervans are brilliant not many people know that they can run on veg oil perfectly ok
They run best down hill 😂
Good Evening 👍
Good evening to you.
YES I DID DO P.D.Is and yes i worked on a couple of the rased up roof camper vans. retired gm dealership worker b.c..
Love it ...what mpg do you get
Not sure tbh, but she's pretty good on fuel especially as we never rush anywhere 😉
Great van, one question,no solar?
Yes, but I have an Ecoflow River Pro power station with a 220W portable solar panel which works amazing ☺️
J plate 1993, surely a J plate is 83? Unless ofcourse a personal private plate.
Nope. 1993 as per the DVLA log book.
@@CampervanCasa Yes you are correct, I got a bit confused......old fart syndrome 😀👍.
😂
Do you poo in the garden with the dogs lol
Unfortunately my paws are not very good at digging holes so i just used the internal toilet.

Hi. Yes. She's going to hear new home on Sunday and back to the UK.
