i have the second generation model and the only thing bad i can say is that the rider's seat become very hot after a while. It's like all the heat of the rear cylinder comes under my balls...have you ever experienced any abnormal under seat heat?
second gen as in like the pointy? or the code Y of Curvy? Tbh with you, this bike's fan radiator barely turns on. It does turn on when it's really hot or idling for so long. I've never really felt it become too hot. I live in England where it's mostly cold so the heat's always nice to have XD I once test rode a Suzuki gsxs700 and gsxs1000f from 2018 in the middle of summer and in standstill traffic, those gave out a lot of heat.

Id rather spend it on upgrading the front and back suspension because I don't use my bike to commute, I actually thrash it in the twisties, you know like doing 100kph+ in 3rd gear, the bike is most fun at 8000 to 11,000rpm. How did you get rid of the restricted ECU? Just pop another one in? What about warranty seals or anything? I'm picking up my new (restricted) sv650 saturday!
I had to take it to a suzuki dealership, the one I went to closed down so I went to the next nearest one. It was a bit awkward as I had to pay a deposit because the dealership didnt trust me as ECUs are expensive. Waited a few weeks and they replaced the restricted ECU with the stock one.

Word of advice bro, don't get the rear seat cover. Biggest mistake I made lol I have this same bike. First things first, in person it didn't look as well as it did in the pictures. Second, the fit wasn't exactly perfect so it would move around a bit once my lower back even slightly touched it and third, tying in with reason 2, the fit was so bad that it flew off on the freeway once I got to 60 mph on my first ride with it. Waste of money.
Pod Rider it was the Ermax one, I haven't seen any other brand make one yet so I'm almost certain this is the only one out there. I went with the aftermarket seat instead. Has extra cushion which feels 100 times better that the stock and the two tone color scheme with the Japanese letters on it look AMAZING

It's a SHIELD not a Screen. A Screen let's air through and keeps BUGS out. That SHIELD protects you from the wind blast and bugs, to a degree.

The smoked windscreen doesn't hinder vision. You're not meant to put your head that way in normal everyday riding

It does get fixed on the forks but I didn't install it so I cant explain in detail. You could probably get their instruction manual from their website
