What you just did here is so awesome buddy . I know not everyone looks at it the same way. But this video is the best so far.
That’s why it’s called fishing. Not just for the fish , but the adventure it takes to get there and back.
Most people fish for most of there lives to realize the fish wasn’t what they was really after. The fish are just a bonus.
And the challenge of trying to catch them is just part of the journey.
I would love to be fishing with you.
Don’t think I’ll be sleeping on the beaches though. I’ll sleep on the floor of the boat and like it. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Part of my journey is getting there. Far Northeast Coast of the USA. I’d like the wintertime there for sure.

Appreciate the honesty brooksy, as you said its not about going out there and getting the biggest fish or the rarest fish. Its about having fun, thats the only real reason to do it.
I get the gutty thing completely. I'm an extremely lucky guy and its very easy to forget that, and get caught up in your own head about the things that didn't go right and it all snowballs.
From that perspective, it was good to see you find your peace at the end of the trip.

I live there. We also have amazing freshwater fishing aswell, but you need a local as most of the best places are not available for the average tourist, meaning you need permission.
Great video brooksy. Can you do a run down video on how that shade sail went on protecting your boat? Keen to know if it stopped full damage? Also did you leave it on when u got home or are you taking it off?

Well Brooksy, you've arrived man. Very informative, content format is professional, none of that old reactive emotional stuff, we live and fish in Cairns, so...yeah we have to be able to watch it i.e. not everyone is watching from Melbourne say, but seriously, very impressive.

How goods the Weipa area, every which direction you go it’s like an Aquarium a Zoo and an Aviary all mixed in together. Crocs on mudflats, Pigs layed up on the beach and an incredible amount of life in and out of the water! Fishing is as you described perfectly, FUN! Great stuff Brooksy and Godfrey, epic viewing! Gets me pumped more to get back up there and do the same! 🔥🙌🏽

Really great vid Brooksy the explanations the voice overs and the experiences you encounter. Having been up the cape for ten day trip fishing and camping with a good mate i understand your hesitations at times. Yep best time camping, eating and jumping the hurdles you face and the unknowns is a great part of it. Would love to see more of this content.. Great stuff well done and your next trip with the knowledge you gained it gets better and better again great stuff.

the great thing about this vid is I felt like I was there. The contemplative, back to basics enjoyment and you had, the narrative, being real about the journey being such a part of fishing.
