I currently have the exact same issue on my ‘78 CB400T and you have no idea how helpful this is. I’ve scoured the internet and forums for weeks and this is the first piece I’ve found that addresses it.
Just did this on my 350. Got the brand new top end together and started up the bike just for this to happen. Hopefully it’ll be up and running again tonight. I’ll have to bend mine back as I didn’t find a replacement anywhere though
