- The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says social media keeps giving climate “fools” publicity after activists were filmed defacing King Charles’ first official portrait.
“We’re giving these fools the oxygen that they want,” she told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“Do you ignore it? If you do ignore it, I guess they don’t get what they want, and then perhaps they’d move on.
“But sadly, this is the media cycle because they post this stuff up on social media, it goes viral, and then we all talk about it.”
They attack art because it doesn't fight back

Good question, how do they get through security? Many of us could pick those deficiently looking alpacas out of a lineup and be like “nope! walk away now”.
People do ignorant things today because there are few consequences. If they knew that had even a 25% chance of a butt kicking this and other things would be rare. Stop abdicating your responsibility to care for your community to politicians and police that typically could not care less.
Bingo they know there are likely no consequences and surely no one is willing to put hands on them. That's the problem, no one gets hit anymore.

i'm not wokie or anything like , However; I do think we need to update and modernise the UK . We are still subjects and not citizens like others around the globe . we are not represented democratically as we might think ; an undemocratic , unelected house of Lords who determine how the subjects should live and be taxed sat on their seats for £500 a day at taxpayers( subjects ) expense along with The House of Hanover ( windsor ) whose dynasty has ruled for 400years marching us all in step towards slaughter in three major world wars !. conceited hypocrisy !..we need a democratic republic !.

It’s art within art. I see the Kings hand was still insight….indicating a perception of “DONT BITE”….DONT BYTE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU.
This was done because it's an atrocious and creepy painting.
