Its truly inhumane and cruel the way our prison system is the way it is. Thank you for telling your story and being as open about these things as you are, I've learned a lot and I'm sure many others have as well.
I totally understand why that was not something you would go to… the jumpsuit, the money, the humiliation, even if that didn’t bother you, it would likely bother your family… all of it😢😢😢 I’m sorry 😞
Yeah my uncle who was the twin of my grandfather didn't get to go to his funeral either because he was a high escape risk the best we could do at that time was he called during the funeral ceremony and only got 10 minutes a little bit extra then he normally would and that was the best that they would do for him so everyone at the funeral will talk to him and tried to describe to him what his brother looked like in a casket

The humiliation of PAYING TO be there BEFORE the service dressed in your bright orange prisons jumpsuit while handcuffed... Awful
