Why did they edit out College Dropout? Prince said a lot of controversial things in his day. I’m not defending Kanye but we don’t need to pretend he doesn’t exist and wasn’t influential on a lot of artists.

Editing out "The College Dropout" was unnecessary, since it is about the music and not about drama and politics.
Also, the fixed camera that had the wide shot had your interviewer out of focus for the duration of the whole episode.
