*✅ Join our TheStudioFamily Discord server: **www.adamtanpercussion.com/discord* *✅ Get the tape in this video: **amzn.to/3Fz6nSQ** (Normal Colours) or **amzn.to/3MppMcW** (Camo)* I GOT A NEW CAMERA SETUP finally to push the studio videos further! I'm so excited to film videos in this more vloggy style, let me know what you think :)) I haven't made a proper vlog in like four years since I last travelled and I'm thinking of travelling to the US in November... so why not combine all my video styles in one hahaha. Hope you enjoy the new style of video! #TheStudioFamily
This is so useful, I’ve wanted to try this for so long, and seeing your process has helped put how to actually do this into perspective! Also new video style feels kinda fresh.
Awesome video, super helpful as I was looking to wrap almost 30 mallets soon and doing so cheaply was going to be a nightmare. Thank you so much Adam!!!
@@AdamTanPercussion Thanks Adam, also ik you mentioned that you found your tape for less than $10, I just found a packs of tape on Amazon at 12 rolls for $18 so maybe a good deal 🫢
Great video, Adam! I also tape all of my mallets since I play traditional grip - mainly to get rid of stick clicks. (haha that maybe occur due to a lack of technique 😉) But I always wrap them so that there is exactly one plain surface and the tape never overlaps. Takes a little bit more time but feels smoother.
Yes I did in the early years but it doesn't have the same absorption or sweat wicking abilities of tennis tape, plus you get more grip with tennis tape haha. Better for your hands long term 🎾
@@AdamTanPercussion yeah I didn't even realize the sweat wicking abilities till you said it in the video! It's just what I learned to do when I was in high school since everyone did it that way and I never questioned it yknow lol

It is me Timpani Guy! I have been dying for the next one of these!
As an ex high school and college tennis player and an avid mallet player, the overlap of the two is very convenient!
Being able to use tape for two things lucky you 😅
Hope you are doing well. Any plans for any random vlogs? miss the vlog channel vids 😊
honestly I always used plain electrical tape lmao but maybe I should get tennis tape instead it sounds wayyy better
