it is just like yesterday, no matter 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 years ago, and you will still missed it
Truth about life - "Everybody dies with memories." Oh sweet life don't leave me....please don't 😢 made me emotional after watching your stories. Life is full of mystery. Where is hell? Where is heaven? Where is god? Where do we go after death? What is soul? Life is wonderful even to a jellyfish. Everybody love life because death hunts life. Sorry if I sounds lunatic.
This life is temporary, a short pit stop before death. It is the after life we all have to worry about. We will be judged and put into heaven or hell. Every account of your life will be judged upon, even for stealing that 1 penny, we must repent and accept there is only one true God. La illaha illallah.
Death is necessary for life
Beautiful summer days on a launch picnic, still enjoyed over seventy years later.
Thanks for uploading this kind of video, although I was not born in the 50 or 60 but I like the memory, that no longer exists.
Hello sir, I was born in hong kong 1972. Thank you your precious video taps. I didn't seen it before.
How was Hong Kong affected during the Korean War? What were your experiences during this time?
Michael, thank you for posting, you must have many happy memories looking back on these films and many stories to tell I am sure; it looks like another world! What did you keep in that very large safe behind you, lots of gold?
Wonderful life, thanks.
Prachtig die oude opnames! Een kijkje terug in de tijd, zet je wel aan het denken hoe snel het leven verloopt. Maar zo te zien heeft u ontelbare mooie herinneringen. Bedankt voor het uploaden!
You look so adorable
Micheal, thanks you for sharing with us.
I feel you are the only man who has lots of sweet memories as treasure ❤
Hi Michael, what's the name of the department you worked in?
Mooi historische films, dank je wel!
Groeten van Hong Kong
I remember this delightful day when my parents took me out to this beautiful bay in a boat like the one you were on and had pot luck and a nice swim
䔿敬的先生,很感恩你有這些老香港片段。我可分享給我子女,他們也很享往以前 淳樸的生活,濃烈的鄰居之情和人情味
Hi, Thanks very much for sharing all of these.
"Your life". If I consider that it is now 2020 for you to post the films, the recordings were 70 years ago. If I look at older recordings of "your life", you should now be about 120 years old. I think it's clips of some people collected here and there.
Indeed not all films underlying the clips are mine. But this one is. I'm only 91 years young.
It hurts me to watch these videos. Gone is the time where jobs were secure, and guaranteed you won't be fired unless you were really weird. Oh well, at least I am still alive. I mean, there's no WW3. These people probably lost their loved ones due to WW2.
wonderful videos!!! a few years back, they have reopened the so called "Dutch Lane" connecting the Magazine Gap road to Wan Chai Gap Road, they say the Dutch used to use this path connecting home and work! just wonder if you have ever used it?
They were swimming close to Repulse bay beach. There is great possibility to see “before/after” of that place. Now it's a site for super reach people, for expats, but before it was very empty. So cool to see it!
The video is much more clearer than previous version. Thumb up!
This boat “Venture” at last year I saw the negative camera glass of this boat. And it's big luck to see it on video.
This is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
Really is wonderful video dear
🌺🌺👌👌👍👍🌺🌺

very interesting videos.
how old are you sir?
it is a very interesting document, so precious..
are You trading in the stock exhange Mr Rogge?
No, I was officer in the Dutch Nationale Handelsbank in Marina House Queens Rd Central.
No more cattle grazing hello forests
I surprised that they most businessmen are smoking during working..🤮
People smoked everywhere back then ..even in hospitals.
Life were so beautiful those days
In the old days, people were simple. They don't have iphone, laptop, internet, but they enjoy life better than people nowadays with all those gadgets but couldn't fulfill the happiness :'(
Xuan 旋 might as well say Stone Age people enjoy life better without clothes or shelter. Technology progress and made our lives better. Deal with it.
Such amazing videos
Every year is history good or bad
Bella la tua vita ad Hong Kong. Bel video
