Most ppl got it during BC. Same with Atiesh. And most got Scarab Lord in WotLK. These 3 things have been obtained by extremely few in their current content.
yeah since Atiesh had a great raid buff every good guild should have one so it was a common thing to get it in BC (and it was almost impossible to get it in vanilla because vanilla naxx is a ret-harded bitch)
since the planed cleansing of the Ashbringer in the TBC expansion and the Corupted Ashbringer himself in classic was scraped completely there was no nead to put darion in outland. Also this propably refered to the planed classic Outland zone wich also never made it into the game
to think blizzard would put this time and effort to making an even that not only took you to be one of the few % to do naxx back in the day but be an even smaller % of that to actually get the ashbringer and care enough of the lore to do this. It has to be in the 0.01% of player base if not less. It would never happen today.
I remember seeing a paladin back in retail wotlk enter my halls of stone rdf group wearing full vanilla pvp set with corrupted ashbringer. He never put on his other gear lol. Now days you can get that stuff on the blackmarket can't you? So it's hard to know who is a true OG.
So they was gonna have it be cleansed in outland but never did? so much cool stuff was cut from the game tbh the expansions could have been way better.
How hard was it to get the Corrupted Ashbringer on Light's hope? I am willing to give it a try on Northdale when Naxx is released but I need to know what's the drop rate. Thanks in advance!
To bad blizzard didnt add these cool things for all classes to experience, blizzard could have done sooo much more with Classic wow, sadly they didnt take that opportunity :(

FukU2222 they had hellfire and the level cap in the files because they already started working on the xpac then.

It says in the Fairbanks text, "the Outland, find him there." Was darion in Outland? I never saw him there.
