I traveled solo to Rwanda, and I'm so amazed how friendly everyone I met. If I had a question or needed help, someone is always there to assist me. I love listening to local stories. Some stories are heart breaking, but at the end, I so appreciate their inner strength and drive to motivation to have a better life. The cleanliness of this country impressed me. I hope other African countries would follow Rwanda's effort to keep a clean country. Thanks for the video!

When I worked for Wofford College in SC, they actively recruited students from Rwanda. The person that led the effort told me that the students never complained about their losses from the genocide, instead they spoke of who they still had. "I have two aunties and a grandmother." When I met the students I was struck by their aura; they radiated gentleness and warmth. When I saw your photos with Rwandans, their eyes glowed in that same way.

Vaccines for what? There is no kind of vaccines and the weather is so adaptable unless for one who could catch cold easily. And Rwanda is so lovely from people, hospitality, food, nature, security, and cleanliness.

Tipping hotel staff $10 per day? In a country where hotel prices in the range $10-30 is very common? I don't consider myself cheap, and I always tip in countries where that's the norm, but seriously - tipping 30-100% is not going to happen. Ever.

    • @BasicallyBiz

Ok donny. Just book the most expensive hotels you can find so you can feel better about tipping 10 dollars a day

So visa is never an issue

You can get it online or on arrival. If you get it online you safe about ten minutes at the airport (and can pay by credit card instead of USD cash)
