THE BEST HANDHELDS OF ALL TIME: ruclips.net/video/foBQqlWhVPk/видео.htmlsi=lqSvJOIRgGLsEbfz
My favorite Hanheld! It was like a portable, upgraded SNES with some incredible titles!
More power than the SNES in your hands, the GBA is legendary.
Was it really the case tho? I remember Super Mario World looking better on the SNES.
10 years after it released. Not super impressive
funny this video popped up, just started playing Metroid Fusion as someone who didnt play any of the games. I was shocked at how fun and addicting that game is! Love it
I still remember the day I got my GBA, even though it had no backlit screen and was hard on the eyes. But, oh boy, did I love that little portable console! It was Mario Kart Super Circuit that made me decide to invest in it. And, hey, I even got both Zelda Oracle games, even though they were originally made for the GBC system. Who cares about that, though? The fact that they were backward compatible was the real deal! Looking back, I had a feeling that they would be worth something someday. Good times! Fantastic list, thank you so much for this trip down memory lane!
I liked it but it wasn't great until the SP. Remember those stupid worm lights we had to use?
Luckily for me my cousin had a purple colored Gba with a light accessory which let me play at night😂 thank god for those times..
The lord of the rings in GBA dude.. look at that game how good it is.
I love your presentation style and voice. Your videos are chill
Final Fantasy Tactics games on GBA and DS are great but it's a travesty that we never got a true sequel on the more powerful systems
5. Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
4. FF6 Advance
3. Metroid Fusion
2. Pokémon Emerald
1. Zelda MC
If you dont have Golden Sun 1 and/or 2 in your list... list void.
mental tbh
Agreed
No
Smh this list suck ass
@@ramrodbldm9876 are you really using woman as an insult? Thats mental tbh
Your list is awesome. It just has great games! I'd just change any games that was important to me, like Megaman Battle Network 1, 2 and 3...But I like a ton your list
nice list and commentary
The Superstar Saga i swear to me felt lightyears more amazing experience than the classic Mariobros platformers i love. It just shines with all the riches of Marioworld and all
I believe the king of fighters deserved a spot. But honestly there are so many great GBA games that you couldn't fit them all even on a top 50
Countless bangers in this library 🔥
There probably should have been a Megaman game on that list, be it Battle Network 3 or Megaman Zero 2/3 (Personally prefer 2, but 3 is generally considered better)
I was looking for this comment. I agree. And a real list will have multiple Pokémon games
i like the list off games you showd for gba .
I think megaman battle network deserved a spot.
One of the best video game series of all time
One of the best combat systems ever made
I totally agree. So underrated and my favorite gba series of all time
@@MegaJonZero Battlenetwork line and Golden Sun line both better than the listed RPGS, also Tactics Ogre
hell, even the dbz rpg games were great
Metroid Fusion!
I rarely see it on any toplist, but my favorite GBA Game everyone misses is Mega Man Battle Network 2.
Maybe because every Mega Man Battle Network game is pretty much interchangable
@@PeruvianPotato ice cold take
@@Concerned.Citizen Never said it was a hot one
@@PeruvianPotatoTo an extent, sure, but they did as much as any other annual game series did to keep players coming back. Some stories were definitely better than others and each game helped refine an incredible combat system.
Now if only they had cut down more on the backtracking filler...
The 2d games with 3d combo gamed amazing
Thank you for the video
Great video!
In my opinion you're missing pokémon mystery dungeon ! Although late in the GBA life, this title and it's unique DS compatibility was truly amazing !
Happy to see Superstar Saga so high up, that was my first turn-based RPG growing up and the humor was off the charts good.
One of my favorite games: Urbz! A fantastic story and I remember tons of great hours of play
I have good memories on FF tactics, it was a christmas gift from my father. Those games were 1/4 of a salary by that time 😮
Metroid Fusion
Golden Sun 1 & 2 (I consider this 1 single game)
Mega Man Zero
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords
Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green
That tactis ogre game was fire, I'd do practice mode and play with a friend.
The only thing I saw missing was Drilldozer.
bought my gba at launch, just before a summer vac in middle school. choose dodgeball advance as my first game. today i play on pocket and these titles hold up incredibly well. this and ds are two systems i expect to still enjoy 20 years from now.
The GBA was my first handheld console. So many fun memories. ❤
I loved my Game Boy Advance so much. I played it for years. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 doesn't seem like it would translate well to the GBA. However, Neversoft pulled it off beautifully. The only thing that sucked about the original GBA was no backlight! Man, that was rough 😂
OK, i know we can only put 20 in the list, but i'd like to remind everyone that there is a GRAND THEFT AUTO on the GBA, and also DOOM...Both with 3D. Let that sink in...🤯
F-Zero GP Legend & Climax
Scurge Hive
Lady Sia
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories
TMNT 2007
GTA Advance
Castlevania Circle of the Moon
Sword of Mana
Metroid Zero Mission
King if Fighters EX 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Need For Speed Underground 2
Metal Slug Advance
Dragon Ball Advance Adventure
Megaman Zero 1-4
I was playing Game boy around the time when it first rereleased in the United states , I would always come across new game titles, felt like there was a million games for it lol!! its great i still play some GBA games today like Pokemon series
Tony hawk? 😢
Drill Dozer 👌
Alien Hominid 👌
Onimusha tactics 👌
Metal Slug Advance 👌
KOF EX2 👌
pretty much own all the top 9 games never did i think they be some top games but always were my favorites to play over and over as a kid
Nice. I just bought a new modded gba and wanted to refresh my memory on the games while waiting for it. Wario needs a come back, super fun.
where is Golden sun 1/2?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn I’m so blessed to have grown up in a time where I played all these games
Great console. Great list. But not in the correct order (imo). Thank you!
Tony hawks pro skater was EPIC
What game is that being shown at 0:38? Also that's a great list, Wario Land was an absolute BLAST
Gunstar Super Heroes
GBA is my fav. Still got my games and GBA Advance, Micro, and GBA SP.
The fact the GBA in only 1 year had Yoshi's Island, a Super FX2 game, when it took until 1995, the 6th year of the console lifespan, impresses me, and with only minor compromises, it's an absolutely fantastic port!
Well they recently added two Golden Sun games to the GBA online on the switch so maybe I should start playing them. Anyways a lot of these games I haven't played but oh yeah I played both the advanced Wars that came out In fact I played both the advanced Wars for the DS I'm really miss days of ruin because that's the best one, and I of course played the remakes of advanced worth one of two on the switch. My voice to text keeps getting words wrong.
I also did play fire emblem back in the day and now I'm playing it again on the switch. Pretty great game indeed! Mario and Luigi Superstar saga was so fascinated to play back then and now I can play it again so that's awesome.
I wasn't aware of the minutes cap back then. I don't know why. Just somehow I was just not aware of that game. I heard about it many years later and I'm glad it's available on the switch now because I realize what I was really missing out on because the Minish cap is awesome
You can’t be serious forgetting Dragon Ball Advance Adventure.
Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors is probably the best fighting game on the GBA
The horizontal gba is the best design. Sp is cool too but horizontal gba looks superior and feels better in the hands.
I'm on the last stretch of fusing every kinstone in the legend of zelda in GBA, I got all the upgraded equipments as well as 3 of the 4 jars
Just playing for the first time or replaying?
@@alecfoster7711 been playing on and off for a long time, like 6 years due to school
Golden Sun LostAge is my legendary Jam! Plus Metroid Fusion is Dope 🔥!
Missing a Good one called Sword of Mana! 🙄🤨😎
God I love lists
Not including nightmare before Christmas the pumpkin king is a cardinal sin
I mean to be fair, not many people have heard of it. Still, it's so good that it's one of the few Metroidvania I actually like
Generally good list, but no mention of WarioWare Twisted?! It's still one of the best games in the series and a game quite a head of its time.
I bought a new console to play all gba games so this video is helpful to me !
i bought an emu console that can play all
the anbernic rg355xx pluss
8:52 I just spit my drink everywhere. /slowclap :D
Metroid Fusion is the best of all time for GBA but Mega Man Battle Network deserves a nod. Great video
If a greatest GBA games list doesn’t include Mother 3 the list is not valid
He said, that the list does include only games released outside of Japan.
@@dawidmejka8783 Yeah, fair point. Technicalities aside, Mother 3 is the best game on GBA and honestly one of the best games of all time.
GOLDEN SUN!!!!
to be honest I'd just find a way to add:
1. Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits
2. DragonBall Z: Buu's Fury
3. Beyblade: G-Revolution
in the list
Hey, some chapters in the video are missing.
Fire Emblem and Mario&Luigi SSS are my all-time #1 and #2 for gba
Almost criminal to not include legacy of goku 2, buu's fury or any of the mega man battle network games
Warrioland 4 is number 1 in my heart ❤
Summon night story craft 1 is by far my favorite
It's all about that sweet Ruby yes bois. :3
It makes me sad that nobody puts Boktai games on their top gba games
was expecting the megaman turn based games to be on there
Megaman Battle Network is what your talking about. BN3 is top 3 gba games ever. The community is still alive too.
@@FuccYew Ya man, I couldn't remember the name as it's been 20 years since I played.
I want to say it was the first one but it was very good for a game boy game. Loved playing that on the GBA SE clam shell model.
Medabot, Beyblade, and Pokemon still the best for me 😍
Medabots rpg is soooo underrated
Tony Hawk 2 but no Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure ?
I'd put Shining Force Resurrection of the Dark Dragon in my top five. Played so many hours on it
I'd love to see Metroid Fusion get a remake.
I'd prefer developers focus on new IPs. Remakes are very hit and miss, and offer nothing new these days
Maybe.
It only took them over 15 years to make Dread.
I actually heard about dread a year after fusion. Ain’t that something?
I would like to take a step forward and see where this story goes.
I think Metroid Prime 4 and a continuation of Dread or newer Metroid game would be nice.
the studio that made dread and Metroid II Samus returns actually pitched for Fusion remake but Nintendo insisted on remaking Metroid II, then dread came about and they more or less *spoilers!!!* "soft" remade Fusion with the second half of Dread.
Needed 2 more face button
can anyone please name the game at 0:15 …thank you!
found it myself :) ....Denki Blocks!
COULD NEVER FIGURE OUT THE COLOR, BUT I HAD A SEE-THRU BLUISH PURPLE #GBA - BEFORE THE LIGHT 😂😂😂
The fact you havent included Golden Sun is a disaster!
Bruce Lee Return of the Legend is a great game for GBA.
I was never a fan of Mariokart due to controls (and yes i dont have the game) *BUT* i have and still play Crash Nitro Kart which oh boy i used to and still do play for hours and *its better than the PS2 version imo*
Dude how did megaman battle network not be 1…..or even make it in the list
Spiele noch heute GBA❤
Tony Hawk pro skater
There weren't "others" in the wario series unless you count the VB Wario. Wario 3 was really Wario 1 aka
Super Mario Land 3
Wario Land II and 3 both released for the GBC before Wario Land 4.
Mate Wario Land II and III exist on the GBC and the GBA is backwards compatible
Gba sp the one who told the others how to be!
GBA WILL FOREVER BE THE GOAT OF HANDHELDS
My favourite handheld ever
I modded a gba maxed an have every game an don’t know what to play :/
No Gunstar SuperHeroes is a travesty
Where is super Mario advance 4 smb 3
Wrong you didn’t add in ghosts and goblins
Wait, where’s Advanced Guardian Heroes?
Nintendo needs to add Wario Land.
How didn’t mario advance 4 mario bros 3 make this
Castlevania Circle of the Moon
You forgot about golden sun.
Powkiddy v90 🎉 can you hear me Nintendo, ahahah
Pokémon got to be on it
Day one of my OG GBA introduced me to the Castlevania series with Circle of the Moon, despite having been an NES kid back in the day.
No backlight stunk, but what an amazing handheld.
Such a basic list. Good but standard. I would expect to hear about one gem I never heard of.
You forgot Super Robot Wars OG 1 and 2
I found it in japense
Where is shining soul 2? 😢
Astro Boy: Omega Factor and Aria of Sorrow deserve much better rankings. Also what exactly makes you say Yoshi’s Island is the best Super Mario Advance game? While I’m at it, I do love Metroid Fusion, but Zero Mission is absolutely better.
@@stevesteve0521I agree with all of this. For me Aria of Sorrow is the best GBA game, followed by Zero Mission, but Fusion is still in the top 10.
@@stevesteve0521 it lets a list show more variety, otherwise it'd be filled w/ a lot of similar games
Zero Mission all day over Fusion
Megaman Battle Network 3 is better than a majority of these pics.
